DATE: 14.10.2016 // PAIR: GBP/USD // RESULT: +12 Pips // SUMMARY OF TRADE: As per my rules, I exited my opened trade from yesterday at 13:00 BST as the USD Retail Sales figures were being released at 13:30. My trade ended in a small profit of 12 pips.

There were no key fundamental news items scheduled so I was able to let trade run throughout course of day. I had to close trade at 21:00 BST for +75 pips profit as I don’t leave trades open over weekend.

DATE: 22.09.2016 // PAIR: GBP/USD // RESULT: +30 Pips // SUMMARY OF TRADE: Trade that was opened yesterday was closed today at 13:30 BST before President Draghi spoke at 14:00 BST for +30 pips profit. Price did rise initially during and after Draghi speech but it is important I stick to trading plan and close trades at market before key fundamental news items are released.

DATE: 16.09.2016 // PAIR: GBP/USD // RESULT: +167 Pips // SUMMARY OF TRADE: Trade was opened in bearish direction around 13:00 BST and broke down very strongly. Locked in to break even within an hour of opening trade. Trade nearly hit +180 Pip target but had to close for +167 Pips as I do not leave trades open over the weekend in case of market/price gapping when it re-opens on Sunday evening.
