What do you wish to achieve through forex?

I want to enhance my learning capacity and build self-control. Also I want to trade forex in order to have additional flow of income and eventually become richer.

I would suggest you not to hurry and keep on practicing in demo unless you get adequate knowledge about the market and pairs. For understanding the market better you can do it in demo account only by trading for the major pairs like EUR/USD, GBP/USD. EUR/USD is also the most traded pair in the currency market. Always go for the pair best suited to your trading style and trading schedule.

Exactly, this is what I meant to say that these EA’s or algos are also built by humans so there can be chances of mistake. As automated trading also includes human interference at first step in making algos. If there is any other way of creating algos, please do share on this thread.

Great! Hybrid trading platforms is a good option. It is a way to experience both the robotic and manual trading. However, a person must also have due knowledge of the fundamentals then only he can react when the situation demands.

I agree that with the help of EA's your trading become consistent and it is also free from emotions, greed and sickness. But what about the major fundamental events? At that time EA's can also go against your positions if required changes are not made, so here the human involvement comes in. And for that person needs to have knowledge of the event to occur.

Agreed, I’m also part time trader. I have other sources of income and I don’t believe in relying on just one single source of income. I do trading just to get some extra income.

Hello Prince, As simple as that, first make sure that you are comfortable with trading and can trade well. For that get a due understanding of forex basics, terminology, styles and strategies. Watch video tutorials, read articles , practice as much as you can. It will take time but you will surely you will learn to trade well.

Yes, I feel getting live performances of the experienced traders would help. This will surely help us in learning from their experiences. Watch educational lectures, video tutorials can all provide us with the visual learning from the trades of experienced traders. This can help build the confidence of the trader.
