@tradfred Good points, you definitely need to risk and work hard to earn money over long term. What's also interesting for me is how with all this buzz around the binary options scam, there are still people who are naïve about them. I guess still not enough media coverage on the topic...@trill12 I also agree here when you say about the scam development.

I agree with the comment that the amount earned is what truly matters and can serves as an indicator of trading skills. I had some big losses recently and I hope to get back on the winning curve soon.

Until FOMC tomorrow I expect the pair to move in a range of not more than 70 pips with very low volatility. Will watch for 1.0522 support and 1.0652 resistance. The daily chart shows an overall bearish sentiment, though.

I think when trading with a good broker slippage is market-related fact, for example. I am afraid it is not possible for it to be replicated on demo, thus there is still a difference even with good brokers.You mean your order was delayed by 50 seconds? If so, what was your actual slippage in pips? If they are B-Booking, they don't want to explain it for sure 😄

I suppose you either also trust the regulation in Vanuatu more than regulation in the UK, US or Europe, or the regulation is a secondary factor for your selection of brokers. I completely agree that regulation is better than just registration, as regulation implies compliance with certain rules and code of conduct by the broker.

Looking back, I think the video posted by pipmenow explains all quite well and gives a good advice how to keep the terminal performance at optimum level.

This seems quite reasonable, indeed, especially if backed up with sound alerting system triggering the necessary rescue measures on time. Not sure if the bankers lobby will be happy with such a solution though 😉

I believe regulators cannot penalise a broker only because of client losses, especially if the broker is licenced to deal on own desk. It's like to impose a fine on a bank if you lost from a big spread. As far as I know, regulators are more concerned about manipulations (illegal activities) done by the brokers and about setting common standards and benchmarks for execution of orders. From what I read in the news, sooner or later the illegal practices are caught and addressed by the regulators, so I guess an escape is possible only in short term.

EURUSD broke the consolidation range after the ECB meeting and now it's heading down fast. I would not be surprised if it reaches again the 1.0560 level range.

@ricki72 Thanks for this detailed personal example! It's really a quick course on what to beware of and what type of solicitations to avoid. And I guess these guys get also quite a hefty commission for all clients brought in which keeps them even more motivated to lure others. Good that you are out of this loop now! 😄

I just trade a few instruments and that makes everything well organised. Simple approach but it works for me. I don't use many indicators and start my day reading the latest technical and fundamental analysis to be prepared what to expect. @mcsuperb Have you already found a good way to stay organised?

Let's see the elections impact now after the referendum. Maybe Italian will still vote for political stability after the resignation of their PM. This could be good news for the euro.
