I think 1.4 pip spread is quite low among the brokers. I have tried few brokers and seem like OANDA is the lowest. Spread for ECN account might be lower than 1 pip, but they normally charge 1 pip for each open position. I follow Forex-made-E-Z strategy to scalp. I have traded my real account for few months before I started to make some profit.

I am using OANDA for scalping - avg spread is 1.4 pip. So far so good - probably my lot size is small.

Hi, Do you make money before deposited $300?We should learn the power of compounding and deposited minimum amount ($100?) to start. If lost, we deposit again with $100. If our strategy works, let the $100 growth. At 10% per month return, $100 will be $300 in the 1st year. 2nd year it will grow to $900. 3rd year, it become $2700 ...... 4th, 5th, 6th ..... there is no limit .....

Scalping is good and has a number of favorable benefits:(1) You are forced to keep your losses at a reasonable level by using fairly tight stops.(2) If your trade is successful you receive an instant return, thus rewarding your efforts.(3) You may often avoid a sudden “spike” in prices if the spread is increased since you are not holding a trade for any length of time.I normally scalp 3-6 pips at a time. Consistency is the enemy ...
