hello,
i have MT4 already installed on my computer. what if i want to use my current MT4 installation instead unloading/installing a new one from GDMFX?
i have the user/password for the demo/contest account. what server should i configure to correctly login to GDMFX demo server?
otherwise, do you recommend to unload MT4 from GDMFX and proceed with a new installation? think i wouldn't like to have 2 (two) metatrader installed on the same computer.

You can use demo30.gdmfx.com on your current MT4, however we recommend using the GDMFX Desktop MT4 https://www.gdmfx.com/en/trading/mt4-desktop, Webtrader https://webtrader.gdmfx.com/ or Mobile https://www.gdmfx.com/en/trading/metatrader-4-mobile. The server there is GDMFX-Demo.

Your commission of $7 usd per 1 std lot is too damn high!!
Aside from buy&sell pending orders having a discrepancy of 5-6 pips!!

My name for the demo account is a number that was given to me when I signed up. I see in the competitors list most people have changed their name. How can I change my competition name on the demo account?

Thoughts on COMP/S.
I am thinking about this comp and comps in general. There is only one way to win and thats to push the boundaries, if you trade in a sensible manner and trade well increasing your account by 1% a day = 20% over the month you still have little to no chance of winning.
If you look at the past contests and the % increase of the winners you will see what Im on about, all the winners took risks OR got seriously lucky.
No "sensible" trader wins (without some good luck) and the winners normally have huge drawdowns.
What are your thoughts? MINE = We need to take risks to win ANY comp OR be on the right end of a BREXIT type trade.
Not saying comp winners are bad traders just that Taking LARGE RISK and LUCK seem to be major factors.

I tried to log in to the my contest account before the contest begins but I found 0 (zero) as balance. Is this normal? Thanks.
