Thanks
Ross

As you are already using a demo account, try and test them on your demo account first and then, go live with them.

Statistics will be your best assistant. Analyze the number of profitable positions and those moments when it does not help you to make a profit. And try to be as critical as possible. This is your future.

The one that is giving the best results is obviously the best one.

Isn't profit the best quality indicator?
Use what brings you the money you want.

Just remember that any robot/strategy/system has a specific shelf life and application conditions.
So don't trust it blindly.
Check everything.
And change it as soon as it stops giving you what you need.

I like the system but I’m not completely sure about this. It will be better if you share more about this, thank you.

You can insert a comment for every EA so in the platform mt4 u can search the comment and see all his trades, is very usefull if you have more than one EA running in one account

Experience is the hardest teacher because she gives the test first, the lesson afterward.

This method is really effective and makes sense.

What would you consider ‘best’ to be: most consistent or higher profits now and then?

You could have one that opens ten trades, 9 losing but the one win outweighs all the losses but not sure that's what you would want in an EA.

I would vouch for consistency always, whether profits are big or small wouldn’t matter.

I want both! And that’s precisely why I am using 2 strategies for trading. I scalp (mostly eur/usd on fxview because of tighter spreads) for short term almost everyday gains of few pips. For longer returns I have invested in some blue chip companies with XTB.

Of course, you would want the EA that will give you the biggest profit in the long run. Though, it might be best to have multiple EAs to diversify. I will always go for consistency rather than getting big profits here and there.

That’s a good approach. And blue chip tech companies especially are poised to do very good, some even give good dividends.

I am scalping using Oanda but the fees is not suiting me. Currently also using a demo account of fxtm which has commission fixed at $4, how much is it with fxview?

You might want to check MogaFx. It's an Australian broker. No commission, only spreads. Feel free to message me if you have questions.
