Fancy names to describe our job or business. *DAY TRADERS/ SWING TRADERS*

How do we describe our work to layman such that our words are related to automation of trading. Maybe describe only trading forex pairs.
I face difficulty in explaining it to noob crowds who think i am sort of some agent whose only struggle is getting clients for investment so i may gain from commission. They judge my job as something cheap.
I am a "day trader" or "swing trader" is not a good answer for them. ppl relate trader to supplier of some sort. I need to tell what i do in fewest words such that my words are relating to automation of trading and limiting my expertise to forex pairs and may be relating to exchanges i work with and not local in country bank exchanges.
i hope you all do relate with how judging ppl can be when they don't understand your work.
Even today only a few a ppl at local supermarket may understand what day trading is. So pls try helping.

Tell them that you buy an asset at a low price and sell it at a higher price.

In short, terms tell them what Forex is and that the market is going up or down and you are making a profit by predicting those movements. That should be the easiest way.
When I decided to open a trading consulting Company, we even got a coworking space new york, and I thought that people would understand what we are trying to promote and how the money is made. Guess what? Everybody told us that we are scams, then we chose a different approach, investing in marketing, and the company couldn't run better.
