@Killerbee12 Yes I agree with you. No skills no profit in forex trading. No matter how years a person is involved in trading, if he can't have proper skills, he will still lose money.

The more you get skills in trading and finance, knowledge and subtleties you learn, the easier it will be for you to understand any instrument or market. You will be able to readjust to trade any instrument and in almost any market situation.

what most experienced traders wont tell you is they still use demo accounts, this is because some days they like to practice and not worth it on a live account
reece22 posted:#That is interesting but It makes sense now you point it out. That makes me feel better about using demo now

@reece22 Yes you are right. Experienced and successful traders always do experiments on demo to keep up with the changing market, as market doesn't behave same all the time.
There is a positive correlation between the level of the skills and success in trading. The more skills you have, the better your trading results are. I doubt that there are any successful traders who are completely ignorant of economic and trading aspects and who base their decisions on gut-feeling.

It is important to build up a certain amount of knowledge (skill) when looking to trade in the markets. Demo is obviously best for that for anything new you want to trial out.

Yes demo is the best way to learn and practice. If you really want to learn the skills you have to use demo

For a trader, the level of knowledge and experience plays one of the key roles. Without this, it is generally impossible to get a positive work result.
Getting the skills takes lots of time and practice and a lot of people don’t want to put it in. Personally I think the best way to do it is to trade on small accounts rather than demo so you can get a feel for trading with real money.

Without experience in this industry, there is essentially nothing to do. This can lead to at least losses, and maybe even worse.

I think Real account will help you feel more realistic in trading psychology.
I'm personally convinced that in trading activity a trader must have a harmony. So, I mean that skills, knowledge and experience must be in harmony. If you have all of these features and you understand that every feature matters a lot, you will be successful. Skills do mean nthing in case of lack of knowledge or experience. The same thing also is with experience. Experience matters nothing in case of lack of knowledge and skills, thus we have to strive to this harmony and develop these features evenly. Only in case of such approach traders can hope on success in trading activity, and actually not only in this activity.

@BalPaper Yes I agree with you. Skills, experience and knowledge should be in harmony. Along with this, a trader's profit expectation should match with his skills and experience.
