Range trading includes trading a market that is combining between evident support and resistance levels. By looking for trading sign close to the support and resistance limits of the trading range, traders have a high-likelihood section situation with clear risk and reward arrangement.

I am only interested on horizontal rage based trading; because others ranges are too complicated to play! On the other hand, trendy market is my 1st choice!

Yes, but all rangers are not playable! I guess trend-based and horizontal ranges are providing best entry points; without any hesitating.

I can even tell you that is probably the first time in my life I am really hearing about something like that for example. Like you listed I mean, no matter how you put it, it should be really really good. Are you with me here ? It's probably cause I am newbie still.

Yes; this type of range is very much attractive; but this type of trading setups are very rare I means; clear SL & TP level!

Do you regard USDCHF being currently in a horizontal range? Basically, for me it seems that it is in a range in weekly time frame. Same question to @AniLorak.

Range traders are cleaning up at the moment. Price on almost all pairs is just bouncing around with no direction. Easy pickings

It might be the FED interest rate decision tonight, and Non-Farm payrolls day coming friday.. All JPY pairs are more or less ranging all the time, and BANG! - a sudden movement.

A trader should have skills to trade in both range market and trend market. We never know how long a market will be in range. We nned to be skilled so that we can trade all types of market. But in both types of market support and resistance is important.

Yes you are right. We need skills to trade in both types of market. Being good in certain types of market will not give us constant profit. Support and resistance is very important for any type of market. We just need to know how to use them effectively.

The Forex market depends on supply and demand. The range is created when a trend tries to change. The support and resistance of Range Trading are very important. It is possible to trade with confidence in the range. Since the market is volatile, the stop loss has to be a little higher. However, many precautions have to be taken when the market is in range.
