I have the same problem too, performance is calculated based on initial deposit + competition rebalance.

Actually there's an easy way to see which competition accounts affected by this error. On the competitor list page, look for performance line graph that doesn't start from lower left corner of performance box.

I've had the same problem, send a mail to the staff to point out your account and they will reset it, just be patient i think they should be overworked by now.
Guys have you noted that most of the high performers disappeared? =P i can't believe I jumped overnight from 36º to 16º place!
This is turning really interesting!
Nice weekend to all of you.

Your account was just reset.

Your observation is not quite correct - the starting point shows the gain of the first day, so only those who gained 0% in the first day of the contest, have their graphs start from the lower left corner of the graph.

I have a question about the contest page. When I load the first page of the contest, it says my current ranking is 5, but it really looks like I am 28th by gain percent. How is the ranking detirmined?

Yeah, me too, my contest first page tells me that i'm in the first place LOL
Sadly i'm on 18º place...
Is this an error or are the positions calculated in a different way than just watching net gain???

Dear Staff,

My account is showing deposit as $6000 on the contest report page that contributes the percentage ranking as 7% something instead of 45% something. Could you please look into it? Thanks.

Quote from a guy on FF forum:

'Spread this evening on my FXDD account is 10 pips on the EURUSD. This is the first time their EURUSD spread has been more than 2 pips to the best of my knowledge. Their spread is also out of wack on GBPUSD EURCHF and USDCHF. On-line chat rep called it a 'liquidity problem' but I think something else is driving it as other pairs don't have this issue.'

10 pips on EURUSD?? Not bad at all for FXDD 😀

My system has a 19% return yet I don't see it in the contest results. Curious what could be going on.

Someone said gambling? LOL
It's ok, they are just gambling to see if they get lucky all month long to take the first 3 places...
I just can't imagine myself opening 1 full lot on 1k balance, not even on demo LOL.

Peace.

Well, trading contest is always useful for the traders who are interested to judge their trading skill! By the way, if you are a fresher, then hold on please! Trading contest is not for you! You have to learn first on demo.
