I had heard about the forex some time ago from my friend , I read up on the basics and im currently using one of the autotraders off myfxbook ( with good progress ) .. I think with a fair deposit , and some time and dedication , a person could become financially free through trading

A good place to start for begiinners is a site called babypips. Many have benefited at the beginning from their free school. I am in no way affiliated with that site but did enjoy it when I was starting out.. Hope this helps. PipPip, Jimdandy

In my opinion, best way to learn trade on Forex is just opening a real account (demo has no emotions) and (for sure) lose few times own money... Human is learning on its own mistakes.

Hmmm... but it seems i can't agree with that.
IMHO, if you open real account and start trading without any knowledge how to read trend, quote (bid and ask), or any other basic knowledge needed to start trading the correct way... in my opinion you will be start to hurting (because of losing your money), you will start to think Forex is not different than gambling (which is wrong thought), and think it is nonsense and start avoiding it (human behavior always wants to avoid thing that hurt him/her).

to acquire knowledge of trading, you need to knew at least the basic and the tools you're using to trade (MT4 or any other platform).
but if you think you already had the hang of trading in fx. Why not open demo acc to test your thought to market sentiment?

if you only learn from real account and think demo trading were not involving emotion,
(sorry, it is only my opinion) then you only focusing on the money (which is not real) and the market movement (which is differ from market sentiment).
If you focus on your strategy, you would only care about are your strategy can grasp the market sentiment correctly or not. You don't even care if it's demo or real acc.

But it's only my (one sided opinion), so Correct Me If I'm Wrong...
(me too, only started trading forex with demo acc after learning it from babypips and other forum, it's fun to develop your thought to market sentiment, and testing if it will fit or not..)

sorry for the long post.. and my bad english (english not my main language..)
happy learning..

I am with you manteero.

This business can take your money faster than you can imagine. Even with good money management if the system does not work your account will shrink rapidly.

You can do a course in Forex and pay lots of money for them. I have done many courses all of which I am glad I did.

Not everyone has the money to pay for a course so there are cheaper alternatives. My Broker is ThinkForex.com. I have funded a live account with them.

In return I get the following.

Free ThinkForex Webinars
We hold a range of educational and analysis webinars every week run by our own in house analysts. To view all scheduled webinars, click here.

Learn from our qualified Technical Analyst, and check out our Introduction to Technical Analysis series of webinars that are currently running:

Part 1 - Trends
Part 2 - Support & Resistance
Register for Part 3 - Chart Patterns
Register for Part 4 - Putting It All Together

For further support, or assistance with any topics in our webinars contact [email protected]

I can't remember for sure but I think I got this stuff just for a demo account.

You probably have seen the add on this site so click it. I have no affiliation with ThinkForex. I am just happy with with what they have provided me for Free so I thought I would share it with you.

Investopedia has a lot of information, but boring and sometimes a bit complicated. Babypips is fun to read and cool for the beginers. But I'd recomend forex peace army. I liketheir style.

I used MTI ( Market Traders Institute ) , cost a pretty penny, but it was thorough and they covered in detail almost everything I could have asked for. 2 pieces of advice 1. Dont expect anything free to be worthwhile 2. Don't get training from the broker you intend to trade with... it just doesnt seem like a good idea. That's just me :)

Best place you can learn is to do it by yourself and to do it by trading, everything else will lead you to losses.

That is way too pessimistic! You can't start trading with having no idea at all what is forex about. With having no strategy of even understanding the basics like fibo or MA. Even to know why the candlesticks look this way you have to get some education.
As for the place to learn. I'd say Forex peace army is a good place to start.
