Luck or Hardwork in Forex Trading ,If you think that it is not a business and if you take it as a gambling so it is luck game. But the True Forex Trading required hard work to get success in Forex.Forex Trading demands a high level of discipline ,strategy and trading practice on demo account.I believe that in Forex first we need to learn than earn money.
At last Hardwork is key to Success in Forex Trading. What do you think?

This is really hard work, and you don't need to count on luck.

Exactly, forex isn't luck based at all. Results from forex will come only if we work hard and work to enhance our skills.

Hi! I think you underestimate the role of luck in trading. In order not only to become, but also to remain a profitable trader, you can't do without luck. Yes, you need to learn and remember a lot, a lot of practice and other things, but you definitely can't do it all without luck.

I don't think the answer would be so obvious. In order to really succeed and become a profitable trader - you will need both luck and hard work. Because with only one of these you will not go far. You need to work hard to be successful, and you need luck to keep this success. So I only partially agree with you. But to me, that's not a bad point)

It's always been hard work. A good analyzing- and true-to-yourself-mindset is always needed. If you don't have it, leave it.
patience is the key

Role of luck can be considered at such certain point but hard work will triumph over luck in the long run.

You will not get far on one luck, so you will have to work here.

No luck can be on your side until and unless you work hard. Forex can only be mastered if you have that passion and put your sweat in learning. Luck can only favour you once or twice, but your hard work is never gonna go in vain.

Luck would imply that you're going into the market with no plan.

Measuring the likely probability of outcome by backtesting is what will give you a system that works.

You need to be so confident in your strategy that even if you had a 'bad year' you would still make some money.
consistency has no limits

I agree that hard work is very important in trading. But it doesn't give 100% success, the maximum is 80%. The rest is discipline, knowledge and of course luck. Only with all these factors in mind, a trader can become profitable and successful. Hard work alone won't give you all this.

As a trader, I can say that you need both of them to become successful in this platform. Because only hard work can not bring success if you don't have luck. On the other hand, only luck can not make you successful without hard work. So, both are equally needed to become successful.

I think both play a factor in determining your role in trading.

I got lucky end of 2013 till 2014 August I made 7K to 162K and than luck fly from window. I lost in 9 days 85% of capital but I get lucky again and I let that pain transform myself to became better trader. So the question is how long time you want to stay in trading? if it is short period than you can rely on luck made money and with correct timing, you can take the money and run never look back. But if you want to be trader until end of your life, if trading is your thing, than you can not rely on luck because it comes and goes.

Here is the good news, if you are hard working even when you do not rely on luck, in anyway it helps to you even in magical way. For example they as to Warren, is luck important and he answer that 'I got lucky to born in USA, 4% chance and If I get Harvard I would never meet with Graham'

Everybody needs a little luck but it is better not lean on it.

To a greater extent, we can say that this is hard work, well, and luck plays a role.

I think we need both luck and hard work to make profit from the market.
