June 10th 2020,

Today I crossed the 100 percent barrier. My account has doubled it's value. Started at the end of december, first strugling with some forex pairs. Then, in March, we got the world wide pandemic. It was at that time I decided to swith to the DAX index since it had collapsed in a huge way. From there it only went up till today and the results can clearly be seen here :)

Let's continue this nice way!

Yeah, after a bad start you're on the right way now.
But keep in mind: the Dax could crash in the next months again, maybe in September or so.
Concentrate on that 1 asset and you'll stay profitable.
I'm also concentrating only on a few assets now, because if you have too much assets you're looking at every day you might miss something or might fail too much.

Thank you Marco :) Happy to receive some feedback. You are absolutely right. Before I had far too much different assets I watched. Mainly Forex and never have been able to really be as comfortable with them as I am now trading the DAX. So, after my bad start as you saw I switched entirely to DAX after the Pandemic collapse and profited from the recovery moves.

I do realise though that this very same thing may happen again if, for example there would be a second Pandemic wave.

one or two assets is a great idea. We basically trade last 4 digits of whatever we trade .DAX is my choice as well.
i am total rookie in this. So I decide to make a robot instead of making my personal decision ...which by default will be wrong

Nice to see someone also trading DAX ;)
As for using a robot. If you are, as you describe yourself, a rookie then on one hand I can understand you would like to use a robot.
On the other hand, if you are a rookie, how can you built a robot then? A 'rookie' never could do that ;)

I myself find robots EXTREMELY dangereous. They follow a strict set of rules and conditions (algorithm) and they do it very consistantly and exact THERE is the problem. Sometimes it simply is neccessary to review your trades and take new actions. As you can see on my monthly stats I am very profitable. However, I only could do this by trading exclusivly manual. Somtimes I had to take action during the day and a robot never can anticipate on daily occurences which may change markets behavour.

How do you know what is dangerous and what is not?
the entire trading community doing same things over and over : Tech analysis, signals, predictions ...same old same old crap.

I my past I have used robots..... also very expensive ones. NO ROBOT EVER has given me ANY profit at all. Most of them ruined my previous accounts.

Besides that: I am a programmer myself and I have built also my own robots (I wanted to do that for it was interesting to know how that works) Some of my own robots gave me some profit but in the end, same story..... a robot cannot adapt to sudden changes.

Concluding your last remark stating that everything would be ' same old crap'.... Well I am outmost over joyed and happy to use that 'same old crap' since THIS is what brings me profit as you can clearly see on my account over here.....

You do not sound like a 'rookie' to me as you described yourself earlier but rather someone trying to sell some robot 😀

It''s not really about 'tech analysis, signals, predictions'. It's about clear and simple chart analysis (price action, together with ongoing news) and a good risk-reward-ratio. I never use signals, predictions or something. I only use clear charts, no indicators, no weird . An ex Blackrock member once said: 'Indicators are the suicidal tools for retail-traders.' And most EAs or robots are based on indicators, because they somehow need to know where to start and where to stop, right? 😁

You said I came here to SELL you EA. I do not sell or intend to SELL anything to anyone, Or buy for this matter.
Been aggressive like this only can take you ...nowhere ... calm down and trade, build , develop ....nobody will take your experience from you. Also if anyone thinks that you need a hundred plus ears of bad trading experience before you achieve a good results: You are wrong. As a mathematician I can tell you that it is possible to structure a Math system, back tested in Excel and if you trust in what you do ...put the money down and trade. I do this way. Nothing to Buy or sell to/from strangers.
also nice to have some money and balls.
