@xgavinc How about riding both the current bullish wave and then the later bearish one, one trend at a time? I guess this could work for some traders as approach as well.

Best pairs to start?

Yes, also I would add EURCHF as heavily affected by the flash crash back then! You guys have heard anything about the Czech government lifting the peg on euro? I hear rumours gravitating so it may be risky to consider such minor pairs as well for a newbie...

Come on guys, I think we are all here to share thoughts and learn from each other. If you see a trading signal and like to share it, do it, it does not mean others should follow. 😄 Han is right that at the end what matters are the actual trades open and the result.

EUR/USD

Looking on a daily chart or H4, it seems more to me as a definite bullish trend rather than range consolidation. 1.0628 being a short-term support. We have another FOMC speech coming soon that may shake the market. I would wait to see what happens before placing new trades.

Trading Plattformar

I use MT4 only and I am happy with it. Not the easiest one to learn from the very beginning but once you get a good understanding, it becomes natural. No issues with my broker also on MT4. I like the diversity of the tools and indicators built and available for MT4.
