There really is! I don't think anyone needs those courses, there's material on the internet, in books etc. There's lots of communities where you can ask advice straight from professional and long-time traders (like this forum..).

Excitement isn't necessarily a bad thing.. it's just important for you to have a control over it, not let the emotion gain control over you and your trading.

This is probably the reality of most traders.. Then again, 1 year of experience is not too long in trading and your's too will get better if you keep going.

Demo trading is good for testing your new strategy, getting familiar with an EA or a platform and just get a feel for trading.. even though it's results not comparable to live trading. But I think as a beginner, you shouldn't be on demo too long, it will mess up your psychology.

I agree. No need to measure the profit per trade in pips. And it really doesn't help your performance to know how many pips professional traders make.

Regarding the feelings you are having, I think you just need to stick with it and try to trust yourself a little more. Yes, you will face losses most likely and it will bring you down at first.Are you using an EA? That is a great way to trade for people who can't control their emotions. But when you one day want to switch over to manual trading, you need to get your emotions on check.You said you want to get into creating a trading plan, a strategy for yourself. So do that, research and put it together and then go on with trading.

Why do you think it is unrealistic? An well-trusted analyst just predicted a spike to $150,000 by 2023. It is interesting to keep up with BTC as I believe it is going to peak out surely in the coming years.

Of course. For example if we are talking about people that still are on a 9-5 job whilst doing trading on the side, automated systems give the possibility of not having to be glued to the screen all the time. Not to mention backtesting possibility for a new strategy... And much more.

I don't think one really is better than the other. I think trader B can have just as much knowledge of trends as trader A does.

If you have that kind of a mindset you will never be successful in trading :) It's a lifelong learning pretty much, even the most experienced traders might face setbacks and therefore need to change their strategies etc.
