In order to really choose the right broker, I have to select through online research. There are many platforms that provide ideas about trading.

Agreed buddy! But I still wonder why some traders prefer fixed spreads brokers, in my opinion and experience with fxview and pepperstone being variable spreads brokers gives you an extra exposure to market volatility

I know that a lot of brokers advertise that they offer zero spreads but in reality, you will hardly get them. With most good brokers, the spreads are tight and near zero. Coinexx, Liteforex, and LMFX are some brokers that offer good spreads as per my experience.

For zero spreads FP Markets is suitable because it starts from as low as 0.0pips in both major and minor currency pairs.

0 spreads are hard to get, spreads I mostly get on finprotrading range anywhere between 0.1 to 0.4 pips. Commission is low - $2 /$100k rt.

As for me, it is very important to choose a broker with a low commission. For this is really the most important aspect.
In my case, too, because scalping trading is so important to me.

The lowest spreads for retail clients will be found in pro accounts usually offshore. Just because they are the lowest spreads does not imply they are the safest, often low spreads mean using brokers with high slippage.

Lower spreads make trading much easier, especially for the newcomers. Lower spreads represent less volatility and fewer prices fluctuate.

There are several ECN brokers that provide lower spreads, and my choice of brokers are IG, Etoro, and FP Markets. I currently use FP Markets mainly for its lower commission cost, which is $3 per lot.

The spreads in IG, Etoro, and FP markets are competitive and average at 0.2 pips or lower in both major or minor currency pairs.

There is nothing like 0 commission i believe, it only adds up to your spreads that’s why my approach is to find a broker with low commission & thin spreads, something like fxview, tickmill and many more.

i agree with you that it's quite crucial to find either low commission broker or a broker with 0 spreads. try to pay attention to the brokers with fixed spreads, floating spreads serve for scalpers and swing traders, while fixed ones are suitable for new traders and those ones who don't wanna care about checking the news permanently, expecting the widening of these spreads.

I’m fine as long as the spreads are narrow. As far as the commission goes, the lowest I’ve come across so far is on coinexx, $2/lot rt.

If a broker is offering zero spread, they will cover the costs by increasing the commission rate. So, you better go for a broker with transparent pricing structure. It’s better than being surprised by hidden costs later.

Zero spreads can be possible only on major currency pairs and that too during high volatility. But as not many traders are comfortable with trading in a highly volatile market, you may hardly get zero spreads. Instead, look for narrow spreads and low commissions.
