Selection of a book solely depends on your style and trading requirements. So you yourself will have to choose one wisely. As fas as my suggestion is concerned, I would suggest you to use a demo account side by side. So along with reading from books, you can try whatever you learn practically on your demo accounts.

There are books about forex trading. No books will give any ready made strategy that will give you constant profit. You have to learn how to customize different strategies according to the changing markets.

Yes. I agree with you. Most traders lose their money because of their low knowledge.

True. Traders need to practice to improve their skills and strategy besides learning from books or any other sources.

One book every trader should read. In trading psychology plays an important role. To understand about it one needs to read 'The Disciplined Traders' By Mark Douglas. It's a real gem.

You are right and forex is more than just reading a few books. It requires a lot of knowledge that people can acquire from various sources online. Limiting yourself to a few books might not be it. There are some very good courses and pdfs available online that can be used to understand more about forex.

Why do you want to choose a book? For training?
Currency Trading for Dummies by Brian Dolan, Day Trading and Swing Trading the Currency Market by Kathy Lien, Japanese Candlestick Charting Techniques by Steve Nison, This book is great for beginner traders. There are many more books like Currency Forecasting, Adventures of a Currency Trader etc. that traders can use to gain knowledge. Books will further enhance your knowledge of thought. Don't discount forex psychology books. Trading in the Zone by Mark Douglas is the most famous but The Mental Game of Trading by Jared Tendler is also very useful and insightful.
If you can't spot the liquidity then you are the liquidity.

@sebking1986 Yes I agree with you, these two are gem on trading psychology. Unfortunately most people do not bother about trading psychology and don't study about it.
