I would suggest that to learn properly, don't just depend on merely reading books, but also start trading on a demo account. Of course, books are a great way to know about forex, but demo trading would give you a better insight into the practicality of the market.

Well, good that you created this thread!
I think there are books describing specific techniques (like the Elliot waves, Rainbow trading etc.). Other than that, I would recommend reading articles on technical analysis in well known print publications in the financial field, like the The Journal of Finance for example.
I agree with you

There is a lot of books about investing wrote by rich people and well successful. But, realize, all books about finances are about STOCK MARKET, none about forex market!
Don't exist none book called 'The intelligent speculator' or 'Learn to operate forex market'...
So, exist some classic book about trading, speculation, high risks and fast money?
Selection of a book solely depends on your style and trading requirements. So you yourself will have to choose one wisely. As fas as my suggestion is concerned, I would suggest you to use a demo account side by side. So along with reading from books, you can try whatever you learn practically on your demo accounts.

Well said! Demo is the best way of learning Forex trading! It’s free, but full of benefits!

There are books about forex trading. No books will give any ready made strategy that will give you constant profit. You have to learn how to customize different strategies according to the changing markets.

Yes. I agree with you. Most traders lose their money because of their low knowledge.

True. Traders need to practice to improve their skills and strategy besides learning from books or any other sources.

One book every trader should read. In trading psychology plays an important role. To understand about it one needs to read 'The Disciplined Traders' By Mark Douglas. It's a real gem.

You are right and forex is more than just reading a few books. It requires a lot of knowledge that people can acquire from various sources online. Limiting yourself to a few books might not be it. There are some very good courses and pdfs available online that can be used to understand more about forex.
Ima think books even if they're classical aren't working now. Lookin' on forums. Don't ya see there's a lot of useful and modern information here. Why should always learn from books? Ima reccomend you start learning new info from modern sources.
Ima do what Ima want to
In reality, on the forums, you can always find quite interesting and useful information, as well as ask any question, where you will be offered different options.
try to read buffet and elliot waves
