Usually after periods of strong trends there are periods of consolidation, this is normal.

bitfx posted:any strategies in mind?everything i learned so far worked well only with a trend i dont have any good range trading strategies attached to my trading plan
At the moment the market is too shaken to attribute this to a pair. If you hope to win well, change the strategy friend, it does not work.
Thank you

Well if you want to find a good strategy – do your research for already created ones – here on myfxbook, there is a special section for that. Also the trading forums are full of strategies. Just be careful and do not trust some unknown strategies. You can test them on Demo first

To be honest, you can’t identify market trend status by only using MA200, you need clear knowledge on technical and fundamental analysis of market! Even, only one kind of knowledge is not enough here! So, if you want to be a regular customer in Forex, make a professional trading skill on technical and news analysis, only indicators are nothing!

If you really want to know the trend then forget the charts and look at the fundamentals
Are you sure? Because, I am doing my trading based on only Price Action (not only chart patterns but also market flow rate), and I am really satisfied on my live trading performance! Listen, I am not against on fundamental! But, you can’t determine market trend only based on news analysis!

In my poinion you can determinate market trend based ONLY on news analysis. When you see a strong trend, it`s sure that there`s a fundamental reason behind it.

For range trading; buy at the lower level of range and sell at the upper level of range! Use SL and TP with buffering! Yes, I use this strategy for range trading (horizontal range market).
