Lots of websites on news, the list is endless, you can watch Bloomberg just to get used to the lingo and a quick overview,as you become more experienced you will learn to pick out the important stuff worth investigating.I also look at MorningBrew, yahoo finance, marketwatch etc.One thing though by the time you get news the moves have already played out or began.

That is why it's better to check the forex callendar at the beginning of the week and preferably at the beginning of every day. Some events, at least, are scheduled, so you can wait for them to happen, rather than react after the fact.

Thats nonsense. The big news like FOMC or Dgraghi moves market a lot at the time news are announced.

I think it's undeniable that high impact news like what you mentioned have a big effect on the market at the time they are released. I do think, however, that effect is for the most part temporary and once it passes the market continues moving the way it usually does and can be understood through technical analysis.

You never seen a move long before any announcement? Its already baked in to the price sometimes,so you can't say its nonsense,if the market agrees with Draghi it moves more in the same direction,if not you might get a a short bounce, because the market guessed wrong.Traders covering their loses.Sentiment will play out then eventually technical comes back into play,Trading basics 101.

Vantage FX give you free access to profesional News Terminal. You will get instant news releases and news updates. If this terminal is not enough then I guess you will have to fork out monthly $1500 for Bloomberg terminal.

Do you think that people in this game are straight and honest, lol. There is a list of cases where journalists have leaked news to traders before the news has got to "us",the Fed was under investigation for news being leaked in April 2013 ,Medley Global you can search it.It's pretty long though.😉

I am pretty sure there are plenty of people out there who know these news before they are announced and they leak them to others who have an interest to start trading as early as possible.

So do you want to say that there are some traders around that have a cristal ball and know the news earlier than us? 😀
Are you talking about insider trading ? There is one risk you need to take , not losing your money but ending up in jail if get caught .
