How do you keep up to date with trading news/ events/ opinions?

Hi guys, I'm a beginner at Forex and I'm looking for a way to stay updated with analysis and opinions on the financial markets. Have you heard of this app tradebird Do you know what is it and is it useful? Thanks

Forget about news. It's in the price long before it's news.

I don't use any apps, I just google forex calendars and I check them every day before I start trading.

Lots of websites on news,the list is endless,you can watch Bloomberg just to get used to the lingo and a quick overview,as you become more experienced you will learn to pick out the important stuff worth investigating.I also look at MorningBrew,yahoo finance,marketwatch etc.One thing though by the time you get news the moves have already played out or began.

That is why it's better to check the forex callendar at the beginning of the week and preferably at the beginning of every day. Some events, at least, are scheduled, so you can wait for them to happen, rather than react after the fact.

True, twitter spreads information very quickly, and that includes Forex information.

Watching economic calendar, comparing it to old ones, sharing vision of economic situation with more experienced traders, and applying it with strategy

If your interested in news a company called IIFT has a daily note,its written by Peter Brown ex Barclays dealer,worth checking out.
