Economic calendar is one quick source to remain up to date on economic news and events but to have a quick overview I also go through Bloomberg, market watch, the street and trading economics.

Hello,
Me personally, before to start trading day I am checking the economic calendar - because I do not want to be surprised from any news :)
Also, never trade in the first 10 to 15 minutes after sitting in front of the terminal.
And even after release, I am not watching / comparing or trying to analyze the news data - just, if I am trading I am watching the chart and the movement where it going, not where I am thinking should going :)

Hello, personally, I do my own research to look for a good source of news and update about the stock market. However, what I ahve found is a good quality articles that can help you a lot. If you want you can check this Investors Mart (https://www.funds-money.com/commodities/)

I personally prefer Economic Calendar (www.investing.com) the most. However for reading good quality informative articles and analysis one can go for the market watch & fxstreet. Analysis by Kathy Lien is also very good and gives clear picture of the currency market.

For live squawk I listen to Financialjuice and Bloomberg in the background to keep up to date, RT and marketwatch, data from Lexvandam.com
