I missed the last gbpusd trade. VPS was up and running and no error messages. FX Primus is the broker.

I got that GU Sell for +9 pips, but my Fin FX demo has missed a bunch of trades so far. I am not very optimistic about this LTP EA so far, there is always error messages in my journal, and this same thing will happen on a live account for sure. In fact I believe that 2 different accounts with the exact same broker will produce different results.

They have all of the control here, we cant do jack shit to change anything, and its so finicky that there will always be technical problems with this EA.

They obviously took care about their security issues but unluckily the bad consequences from that are for their customers.

You will never have the same trades as the developers do because they probably have the EA directly on the MT4 platform while you shoul receive the signal from their servers which will cause a lot of troubles as it can already be seen.
So once again the world is f..ked by the FapTurbo team.

Is this the FAP Turbo people?? I thought it was the megadroid group, but if its the FAP Turbo group then I all of a sudden lost most of my interest in this one, because they are the biggest bunch of scam artists around.

So do you use one broker for both license Raymond. I am being advised by LTP support to use a different MT4 broker for each license. This is what they said :

'Make sure to download the last version of our EA and use each licensed EA in a separate MT4 platform to avoid malfunction. The EA is advised to be attached to one chart only within one MT4'.

That seems to imply that I would need a different broker for each licensed EA since I cannot have more than one MT4 platform from the same broker open at once.

Hello Pip,

Yes I run a different MT4 session for each LTP license. I find that running two instances of LTP in 1 MT4 will crash it. That's not difficult to do. You can run the MT4 installer many times and have many sessions of MT4 running up till you start to run into CPU and Memory problems. I find that a 512 MB RAM on a VPS can support 6 to 8 MT4 sessions no problem.

You can open as many MT4 clients pointing to the same account as you want. I have 3 MT4s running 1 FX Pro account. 1 MT4 session for MD and pip laser, one each for each LTP EA license. Its more stable that way. If 1 goes down at least it doesn't hang all your EAs.

This is good information. Right now I am running 3 different MT4 platforms from 3 different brokers. How exactly can I run different clients in one account. Every time I run the MT4 I am getting a message that it is already installed. Obviously, I am not doing something right. Thanks

When you install the first copy of MT4 it places it in a directory, something like FX Pro - Metatrader 4

When you install the second copy of MT4, change the name and directory to something else, eg. FX Pro - Two

Guys ... a stupid question .. sorry I haven't scrolled all the pages back to see if someone already asked ... but do we have a free signal service here? I mean the investor password. We see the new trades realtime? If yes, can someone slap together a trade copier EA - it would monitor for new positions appearing and instantly send that information to another EA in another MT window - it shouldn't be that hard to send the data to another window? Any MQL programmers around?

...ahh, I see, account updated every 5 mins ... that's the way the cookie crumbles..

The report here updates every 5 mins. But the MT4 account investor PW is public info and that's live. Install the MT4 and you can follow the trades in real time.

Ok, I'm in. I'll see what happens tomorrow during London. If the trades appear in real time, they could be relayed to another MT window somehow. Man visited the moon, there is brain surgery and we invented dna technology ... copying trades from one window to another must be a lot simpler than those.

Hey guys,

I just want to say that i have been using LTP and that it has never opened any single trade. I tried Alpari UK and FX Pro.
Since i have several accounts there i have tried all of them, even reinstalled MT4 but nothing happened.
So i returned it.

But i am still curious what goes on with this account so i watched it and bought in, almost the same position to the pip.
Now to my question.

How can it be that my live account and Fin FX's account don't match.
So i took a screenshot and compared the figures.

If i am down apx 40€ how can a just updated myfxbook account show only $8? At the time of the screenshot EUR/USD was at 1.31031. Please do the math and see that something is at least a bit dubios...

S.

Also as a sidenote.

A couple fo weeks ago FX Pro was down and i called customer service to open a position for me. They said they did but in the end they didn't. So i opened it myself 30 minutes later at a much higher price (EURUSD went up) and called to complain. I was then advised to write an email but in the meantime i got a call back and was asked at which price i wanted to go in. So i told them. What they then did surprised me even more, cause instead of granting me the money i would have made over that 30 minutes the just changed the entry of my own position to what i wanted to go in and bang, a minute later i look at my MT4 and it was in. As if i would have entered myself.

After that story i don't believe any statements, letters or whatever BS anymore.

But anyway lets see how LTP keeps performing.

Regards again,
S.

Hope you told them to go long somewhere 1.24-ish? 😁

So, they did not execute your phone order. But they fixed it because they can do anything to any account. Is it good or bad? I'm not sure.

Stephen,

The account info here on myfxbook is not real time. It updates every 5 mins so if you made a trade and compare it to what you see here you're not getting the real picture. If your trades are not executing try disabling all but 1 instance of LTP. Because you're connecting to their server to get trades. They know when you're using the same receipt code more than once. I had problems running 1 live and 1 demo account. In the end I ran it on the live account only. Seems to be stable and working now.

Just an update here for the week, LTP crashed 3 times this week on me which is very frustrating to say the least. I got up this AM and the demo crashed and is down which means no trades.

I am not running it on a VPS, but I have checked and the internet did not go down at all, so it seems to be a generic problem with there set up which I did mention before will be nothing but problems. After Solar said that they were the same group as the FAP Turbo people, I did some of my own checking and sure enough they are indeed the same group of scam artists that started with the FAP Turbo EA. That in my opinion is a red flag because I had purchased the Megadroid and the FAP Turbo and returned both of them because they didnt make any money.

But now that I think of it, the LTP has the same size SL as the Megadroid and trades more or less in the same manner, so its just a repacked version of the Megadroid EA.

Megadroid used huge leverage and could wipe off account on a blink. This one is safer (needs 4-5 consecutive losses) and the accuracy is also better. (it has made some serious pips so far.. 600 pips per month is no joke). I also thought that if the account reaches a certain point you stop the increase in leverage and you have a steady income minimizing the risk even more.

Hmm, my LTP closed that last eurusd trade for a 105 pip loss. Lucky still testing with small lot sizes. Apparently what their live account is doing is not the same as what we're getting as a signal from them. Suspect it has a hidden SL or trailing stop managed on their end and it stops out after a hundred pips or so. But on their 'live' to the public a/c they keep the trades open till it either hits the 330 pip SL or rebounds.

The EA is fully functional and has not crashed so it closed that because of a signal from them. It was not a trade modification either because the SL still shows the original 330 pip SL. They sent a close signal!

PS: Did this happen to anyone else?
