United Kingdom GDP Growth Rate YoY
After Germany, the United Kingdom has the sixth-largest economy in the world and the second-largest economy in Europe. Among the most significant, the services sector accounts for 79% of overall gross domestic product (GDP). The following are the largest segments within Services: government, education, and health (19% of total GDP), real estate (12%), professional, scientific, and technical activities and administrative and support services (12%), wholesale and retail trade (11%), and financial and insurance (8%). In terms of GDP, industry accounts for 21% of the total, with the main segments being manufacturing (10%) and construction (6%). While the agriculture sector accounts for just 1% of the country's GDP.
A higher than expected figure should be seen as positive (bullish) for the GBP while a lower than expected figure should be seen as negative (bearish) for the GBP.

UK House Prices Remain Flat In June: Halifax
UK house prices remained flat in June after falling last month as more first-time buyers returned to the market, data from the mortgage lender Halifax showed on Monday. UK construction activity declined at the slowest pace since the current period of contraction began in January, survey results from S&P Global showed on Friday.
