@bluemonkeyWhen will the EA be started again?It's pretty obvious at this point that this EA is controlled from the server, it cannot initiate a new trade by itself, and this is my biggest disappointment. It's one thing to use the EA and suffer a loss as a result, it's completely different thing to purchase an EA and end up not being able to trade with it. Please response ASAP!!

@bluemonkey Although most of the folks here lost money big time with this EA at the moment, and nothing you can do to stop them from blaming you, please remember some of us who have had some success with the robot, and at the very least what you can do is to not also disappoint this group by pulling the plug and stopping this EA from working. Please resume the BM, win or loss I can take it, it's part of the game!

As I said earlier that while our robot has logic to trade on its own, it only does so after a new batch has started. The catch is a new batch will not start until it receives a signal from the BM server. I also have a feeling that this signal is generated manually by Alex himself, not by his robot. So based on the chart and some technical analysis, he would determine if it's good to start a position on certain pair, then he'll just set a flag to either "Buy" or "Sell" on the server. I agree with you gorydan... for me this EA is the only one that has survived for 4 months and profitable in my account, so I have a big hope to ride with it for long run. But it looks like our robot will be dependent on the signal from the BM server to start a new batch, so if anytime down the road he pulls the plug, our robot will stop working!!

That's pretty obvious, but that's not what my question was about...I was wondering once we attach this new EA to the chart, is there anything else we need to do to enable the force close functionality, for example, by setting up a new parameter to 'Y' to enable the feature, or to 'N' to disable it etc.?

Is it a manual process to enable this functionality? If so, then when is the right time to do so? Is this something that we would do manually to close a losing set of positions when the DD has reached certain point?

What a beautiful chart :-)Unfortunately mine was not like that. Both sell and buy positions are still open at the moment, but I cannot blame the EA because I intervened the trade with my own manual close on some of the positions, bringing the TP line further away from where it was originally. Nothing to worry though, only 5% DD at the moment...

Thanks gftcfd, that's what I thought too, but I am not completely sure anymore now because:1. According to zaeix, and if my interpretation is correct, his short positions on EURGBP have been closed with some profit. So how could that be possible since on my chart the price was never getting close enough to the TP line.2. Using the H1 chart, I observed that the BMEA seemed to have some intelligent in determining the next price level to open an additional position and that is after the current immediate trend ends and price starts to turn a bit. Wow... what a day... just when I thought this week was over with no more actions due to holidays, today's activities with GBPUSD and EURGBP were the exact opposite to say the least! This week ended with bittersweet, while the equity dramatically increased, at the same time the open DD was growing larger too (around 8% at the moment). Interesting observation on the open trades in master account, if you notice the initial lot size for EURGBP sell positions was 0.01 lot, not 0.02 lot. If I may chime in on this... I think recognizing the trend is not really an issue, because if the price is constantly going upward on the chart, we know the trend is up, and vice versa. The problem is to predict where and when the trend will end and turn around. Knowing this would make you a master! Based on my observation, most of the time BMEA actually does trade with the trend, but once in a while it got trapped in the trend reversal, and this what would blow your account!

My own experience for the past 4 months using BM has been quite profitable. The return so far has been almost 100% because I used a reduced lot size in favor of less risk. The chart was also steadily inclining as smooth as the monkey's butt :-) The fact that I like about BM is that it shows us the cumulative target profit line. So in the event that the open positions are against a strong trend, and we observe the target profit is unlikely to be reached due to it's beyond a strong resistance/support, I wouldn't hesitate to execute a manual close for all positions.
