In the account stats report for all of the metrics you can see tip boxes explaining how to read and understand them, if this is what you meant. This I find particularly useful as a feature by MFB.

Apart from teaching others, have you also considered becoming a money manager and earn on the success of your clients? 😄 Maybe this is what Ben meant as the last option.
Newbie Question : USD/JPY Pair more volatile?

These are 2 separate instruments, 2 separate markets, so the same position (long/short) will certainly result in different outcome, so I am not sure what is not clear in this case. Maybe I couldn't get you point correctly.

Not necessary, it depends on the required margin / leverage you are using for your account as well as the margin call and stop out levels set by your broker. If you trade at 1:100, to open a position of 2500 USD you need to have more than 25 USD in your account, for example. 2500 is actually .025 lots.

Good that you initiated this discussion. I think we all shared and learned a piece of the truth about forex 😉 It is a never ending story, though.
Beginners - Kill your emotions

Key to remain calm and with cool head is to be in control of your investment. If you are in control of what is going on, you can be cool enough to make solid decisions. Otherwise, panic happens when things get out of control. I have to add that emotions are the ones that trigger your actions. Thinking is a passive process. So instead of controlling or switching off emotions (which is impossible as already said), we can focus on controlling the money we put into trading, including proper risk management.I also agree about the important of perseverance, especially if you improve something with e...
How to keep organized trading forex?

I think Google can be quite helpful in finding different programs and tools for keeping yourself organised, not only in trading. Good luck to all who struggle with this!
How about "Live" trading?

Opening a brokerage firm is quite an ambitious goal for a novice trader but I suppose you mean in 5-10 years timeframe. Do you currently trade using a micro account with very small orders to test the waters of live trading? Watching webinars can help you a lot. Just google them or do a search on YouTube 😄

EURUSD has a short-term bearish sentiment. Support to watch for is 1.05774. If it breaks it, it is a sign that we are again in the consolidation range.

I don't know much about programming EAs and prefer manual trading as it keeps me in control.

You are absolutely right. I see it's getting bullish also on H1 chart. My next level to watch is 1.0670. Breaking it would further strengthen the trend I think.

I think a good way of keeping your trades organised is by adding your account to MFB and checking the stats regularly. A dashboard that is similar to the one provided here could be very helpful for everyone 😄 Not sure if there are other website or applications that run similar stats for an account. If someone can share it could be great.
DEMO ACCOUNT vs LIVE ACCOUNT

I agree with everyone who mentioned about using the demo to test the trading system/broker before going live. It's just the logical way of doing things in FX.

After all, demo is used to practice what you learn and study about trading. I agree also with the points about getting a good grip of the platform. If someone is practicing on a daily basis, demo account expiration should not be an issue.
Market Manipulation?

Nov 21, 2016 at 15:19
I can agree here that sometimes the ego does not allow us to accept it was all our fault. However from what I read in news and forums even here on MFB, the brokers also can be very manipulative. But it has to be taken on a case by case basis.

I agree with both of you c3po and Clive! Good points and we have to be very careful when selecting or deciding to stay with a broker or not.
