KeltnerPRO - Jared Diskusia

Funny that all three of those losing trades you mention are against the trend of the market at the moment....it trades on spikes and when profitable - those spikes (e.g the massive wins on short EURUSD) - were during a massive downtrend for EURUSD. The spike on AUDUSD seems to have been short-term for example and against the trend of the last few days. Maybe an enhancement would be only in the direction of trend over last week / month or something. Of course, then you aren't going to get the same amount of trades per month, but have you ever noticed how even sometimes news doesn't move the price in the way you expect, usually it seems to be because it's against the trend of the last little while (if there is a clear trend). Just a thought....

In MT4 you can force any EA to trade 'long & short' or 'only long' or 'only short' in the general properties...but I think you know this already ;-)

Thanks for the analysis. I hadn't noticed that, but I have noticed how each trade has the comment 'Kelner Pro'.

Do I have the authentic EA, or is this a rip-off copy? You would think I purchased 'Kelner' Pro and not the 'Keltner' Pro EA.

I stopped the EA It killed me today its got stopped out on every single trade while they where good. seems like the strategy needs to be optmized or off. I could do a lot better trading manually on the news rtaher than use this strategy.

I bet its set too aggressive without a draw back.

As any other EA in the market , its just a matter of time till the 'system' starts to play against you. Same was with teh MDP, seems like the fun with this one is also gone.

Not only you have to lower your risk per Trade, I'd change the settings for the band calculation and level to consider the BO higher, to avoid so many False BO.

For that you need to code your own EA. And frankly speaking the logic on this one is reaaaally simple!.

Btw, take a look at the EURUSD buy he took at 12:30!!!! 15min Before the price CLEARLY spiked, but again CLEARLY revert and this EA, also clear detects the spike... and take the action 3 bars later!!! Despite what happen in between these 15min!!!!

That is not smart to say the least!!! So, this EA as it is... its now Dangerous!

I coded the same logic into a personal EA... mine did got triggered on the GBPUSD (the price kept raising after the spike), but NOT for the EURUSD (which clearly didnt ... ;) )

Another interesting fact though its not really related to the performance of the EA is the profit % in the last months,

In June it grew, then it was 7% lower, then 6% lower, now 5% lower at only 2% profit so far ;), if things keep going next month it would be -2% ;)

But that is just a joke comment ofc! ;)

all the trades thsi EA made yesterday & today on NZDUSD EURUSD & GBPUSD where good the problem is the dynamic stop in a vloatile market 16 pips is to close 99.9% its going to get hit every time as the spreads widen due to risk. The developer does not even give you the ablitity to control your risk as to how much u can afford to lose. All commercial EA's have options that you can tweak according to your risk tolerance except for this. It would had made some excellent profits yesterday & today if it wasnt for those damn tight stops

anyway I cant control my risk I decided to go for the refund. even an idiot can trade the news based on how the market will swing & be in total control by moving a stop profit.. The EA smartpips is quite similar it is cheaper & the stop distance is wide enough you never get hit on market vloatility

Nice to know marketers who peddle more than one product - did the first product make not enough sales, or was it so successful you decided to sell another one 'Jared'?

No not a joke - rather, a very perceptive observation. Let us consider this an accurate prediction. 😲

I think you are right: this system's 'fun' is up now.

Nah dont take it to the letter ;) You can see that the leverage used change dramatically from first month to now! But indeed, I would not personally use this EA as it is coded. Tons of flaws which I will not say , as I said I have my own optimized version , which I'll keep it for now ;)

We have already mentioned a few of the flaws... glaringly obvious, even to an amateur like me (I'll admit I'm an amateur).

Loosing quite a bit of money lately? Does it need any updates? I just bought one, so far more losers then winners....

As I said, tons of ppl bought other EAs in the past that had shown profit, just to see a set of losses! Is this a bad EA? In essence I'd say NO. Is it ready to face what the 'market' is throwing at it TODAY? NOOO.

Could it be better, SURE!

So, one example, which I coded myself was the MDP. Quite great idea! Worked great till the 'market' started to kill it, MDP was never redone to avoid those!

I can show you a statement of a similar code that made 1000% in 6months using the SAME base logic, while MDP loss like crazy!

I believe we might start the same phase for this EA.

There's no EA in this world in my also amateur view that can be publicly announced (and sold) like this that wont be counter-striked by the 'market' (and please try to understand what 'market' means here ;) ).

So, I'd say be careful, keep you risk low! dont try to get the same 200% until proved wrong. ;) or the author which is now pocketing 500USD from a few hundred ppl ;) makes a new version.

Btw, how many of these trades do you need to look to see what is the logic behind this EA? ;)

The 'magic' are in the optimization for each pair , which band to use, which level of pips to call teh BO (breakout) which stop loss to use, which level to start trailing, how far behind , you name it. Well, anyone with a minimal EA coding experience can replicate it. I can post a few of my chart if you are curious ;)

I dont have the original, but unless you can change as per my last post, some critical settings, I hardly think it will survive... but who knows ;) good luck there!
