that is the thinking behind it yes - even if the market moves 1000 pips against you, still in favourable position
trying to attract wealthy investors on this site, do you maybe know some (can maybe negotiate finders fee)

I known one money manager and he used to have one big client. He used the same strategy as your and his client account was ruined just one night due to a strong up trend in gold. They lost about 100.000 USD just one night. Does you EA work with currencies only except spot Gold?

Yes , it only runs on currencies - don't know too much about commodities
Currencies you can spread and hedge your risk way better than commodities where everything is against the $
