South Korea Consumer Confidence
The Composite Consumer Sentiment Index (CCSI) in South Korea assesses the level of confidence that consumers have in the country's economic performance. The index was developed on the basis of a survey of approximately 2200 households. In order to calculate the CCSI, six variables are taken into consideration, including existing living standards, anticipated household income, and prospective spending. A CCSI value of more than 100 suggests an improving perspective, whereas a value of less than 100 suggests a deteriorating perspective.
