I'm not a U.S. resident, but I can see how that would be a problem for the winners if they are... After all, they expect us to open a live account first, so they can deposit the money on there (clever concept, I must say :-)

Yes USA traders are allowed. Here is a copy of the conversation I had with OctaFX...

Emma-Octafx: The traders from USA can take part in that Demo Contest.
Joe Smith: What if I win? How would the $3,000 be deposited into my 'real account'?
Emma-Octafx: It will be possible, but the funds should not be traded in that case but to be withdrawn.

Oops i just noticed. Its 10.30am Gmt +3 here and the contest hasnt started yet. It starts in 30 min good luck all.
