Yes! with the right skill....its possible to make 40% a day in Forex.
To retouch on a point, depending on your strategy, I would class 8 hours spent trading in a day as too long, but on the other hand if it takes the trader around that period of time to find good setups then fair enough.

@PP : Man, I respect your results, but 18 hours sitting in front of a PC?
I'd rather an EA (if you can automate your strategy), and 'get a life' (you know what I mean?). 😉
