im in however it says nothing about leverage settings, or auto or manual i think there should be two seperate catagories for auto and manual for one auto can trade 24/5 and manual cant we have to sleep sometime. was mearly a question cause i see nothing in the rules for each of these.
You will never go broke by taking profits
are prizes transferable to charities? this i raise, in the event the winner finds it hard to trade via the sponsored forex broker (e.g. documents to be furnish via wiretransfer of funds, tin number and all). many thanks.
God is great all the time

Toying with the idea of entering. It's not like I'm looking for more things to do, and I hate demo accounts, but it could be fun... I guess I would want to know too about:
1. Hedging allowed?
2. Leverage allowed?
3. Any MM restrictions?
4. Can winning funds stay offshore of US account?
5. If the start balance is only $1k, what's the minimum allowed trade?
These things might be in the fine print somewhere already. Frankly I haven't had time to look for the answers...
t.
ps - I'm impressed that FXDD responded to the 100 standard lots complaint and made it 1/10th as restrictive. That shows they are listening at least...

Where do you go to see all the Contestants entries?
We haven't made this information available. Is that something you would like to see?
Yes, I have added it to suggestion box! Labelled as Top of the Pops!
When everything else out there is just not good enough, design your own! MIDAS

Guys, to answer your questions:
1. Hedging is indeed allowed (checked in the FXDD Malta MetaTrader 4).
2. Leverage is unlimited.
3. No MM restrictions.
4. No manual/automatic trading restrictions.
5. Prizes transferable to charities - once you withdraw the prize money, you can do whatever you want 😄
In general, there are no restrictions as we wanted to open the contest for everyone.
You can trade manually or even use your best EA without giving away your EA. Basically, anything goes 😄

Leverage is unlimited? Excellent I'll have 2 billion to 1 please :)

Spoilsports!
I'd like to raise the question of what is and isn't permissible. Are we really saying from an EA perspective that anything goes?
Are we also saying that basically as long as the account doesn't blow the highest equity gain wins?
