If yes what are they and do you usually win or lose? I would like to hear from you.

I trade like 30 pairs including exotic ones

It is grid and martingale and it is profitable since JUL 2013 :)

Hei im trading with 15 pairs same time. Its not martinggale or any regular grid. With martingale or geometric grid you need to have endless amount on your account. I most of time use same same size of transaction.

Thats not right. As you can see above its grid + martingale. After initial deposit only withdrawals no endless amount of money.

I trade 24 different currencies, so all but the exotic ones. I also trade silver and gold, and I am profitable. I trade the daily, weekly and monthly charts. No scalping, grid og martingale. I trade using candlesticks combined with bollinger bands as primary system and DBB as secondary. You can take a look at my account if you like :) : https://www.myfxbook.com/members/Kevinbonnelykke/bonne-invest-pro/1443035/BMPV2pYeqMon4QMkih4x

Kind regards

Speaking of the exotic instruments, does anyone trade Palladium or Platinum here? I am considering giving them a try.

Hello Vontogro.
First of all you have to make definition of grid. If for you grid is any two or more transaction, you are right, thats grid. For me grid is two or more transaction but it has to be regular from beginnig. From beginig you will know where you will set next position. For exampel every 50 pips. I do not set it regular. Second Martingale grid is when also regular you will make size of your transaction bigger and bigger but not by multiply but by addition. For expampel.
1.1 Lot
2.2 lots
3.3.lots
4.4.lots
In martingale grid every positon has to be bigger than one before. I don have it. I make position bigger when my DD going down uo to 50%. Now my next positions will be 1.5 Lot.

What do you mean by last sentence? :)

I position trade the daily and weekly timeframes, and there can be a big delay between trades, so I use an EA that monitors all symbols available with my broker and trades when an opportunity comes up. So, I tend to trade across many, many pairs.

@koval
That's easy my friend.
Grid = adding multiple position of the same size to aggregated position
Martingale = adding trades with bigger size based on multiplier. Or more broad definition when equity decreases trade size increase
