Honestly, I'm a newbie in trading as you are. I did not use EA though I want to try. But how to understand which EA is better and where it can be bought?
For a newbie one should first learn at least the basics of forex and understand technical and fundamental analysis before they start using an EA. I think using EAs from the very beginning will create more problem than help because It takes time to understand it
The more your practice, the more you learn.

Knowledge is the key to success in Forex. There is nobody who can make success from here without knowledge . so we have to emphasis on acquiring real trading knowledge and we can get most powerful analyzing trade knowledge by passing a long time. Otherwise that’s not possible at all.

I believe that novices shouldn't use expert advisors because of two main reasons. There is a big chance to face scammers, because novices don't have proper experience. The secon reason is that they must gain experience by their own, because it's much profitable for them. No doubts, that expert advisors can help novices to start off trading, nevertheless the main objective of beginners should be independent learning. Anyway, it's up to you, whether you will use expert advisors or not. If I were you I wouldn't use them, because I'm curious enough to explore new activity by my own actually.

Personally, I always steered clear of EAs. I'm sure there are some decent ones out there, but I didn't trust it and read too many stories of other traders getting burned.

I have to create that kind of humanity to trade beginners. And you have to be patient with yourself. There will be many obstacles in trading. You have to overcome them properly. You have to gain knowledge by doing online research.

High leverage increases trading risk and traders should avoid high risk to survive in Forex for a long time.
