I suggest you go to the only teacher that has the right information which is the markets. Make mistakes and learn from them.

Please, never do not learn Forex trading on any forum!
I don't see anything wrong in learning forex from forums. Although there is a lot of useless information, if you will look hard enough you'll be able to find priceless information. Moreover, it's easier to learn based on others' experiences.
Mentors aren't always the best choice. You should always remember 'Those who can, do; those who can't, teach'. Most of the so called mentors are no traders and look to make money off of the course's fees.

I have found a mix of everything has helped answer a lot of questions and angles quickly. I have tried a few angles and robots over the last months and for me it was all helpfull to push the correct way ( for me) to the top. I'm chasing the very basics and will jump on board with a' Keep It Simple 'mentor until I get a year under my belt.

Experimenting yourself is definitely a great way to go. You get the inner understanding of things you wouldn't learn elsewhere. In any case, if switching from demo to real money, start small and build your way up - don't get too confident, so you get to trader another day, in case you get something wrong.

Every novice trader definitely needs to educate himself as much as possible in forex trading. But at the same time, he doesn't need to come up with an overly complicated strategy just because he knows a lot. More often than not, it's the simple strategies that work. While it's helpful to know all the technical jargon and an array of strategies, try not to get caught up in them. Try to keep it simple. As long as you can come up with a time-proven strategy that wins more than half the time, and as long as you exercise discipline and patience to execute it correctly, you will be profitable in the long run.
Discipline. Patience. Knowledge.

I have been teaching myself for a few months now, and I finally feel as if I have a system that works - or on demo at least!
I haven't yet tested it on a live account, but I guess we can always see where things take me, so far so good.
