Dear ANT NEST subscribers, the week started with a large drawback in a very unstable market environment, but we've managed to recover from -22% to +3% in 4 days only and that is showing the potential of our new strategy. I chose to close the last set of orders with a small profit today, in order to avoid surprises over the weekend, because the Australian elections are due tomorrow. We will resume our normal trading on Monday morning.

Dear ANT NEST subscribers, this is the worst ending of a month we could have imagined, but the markets are really ruthless. A 'pack of wolves' is driving the market to one way or another with a few words, in a matter of minutes and that cannot be predicted in any way. I will never give up on my efforts and I will continue improving my strategies in order to adapt to the market the best way possible. I will be making some improvements from next week in order to follow the current trend closer.

Dear ANT NEST subscribers, the 'nightmare' has ended with a sharp decline of about 20% from May's highs. We will pause our trading now, because its the RBA meeting tomorrow morning and the ECB meeting on Thursday. We will resume our trading after the ECB press conference, with some improvements in our strategy, in order to adapt better in sudden trend changes, like the one we've encountered these past few days.

Dear ANT NEST subscribers, we will resume our trading tomorrow, after the ECB meeting and president Draghi's press conference. I've made 3 important changes in our strategy that will help it to adapt better to sudden trend changes. I've increased the virtual SL levels and decreased the lot sizes accordingly in order to keep the same risk ratio (2% per position). Also I am introducing a filter that will not allow the system to open many positions at similar price levels in periods of consolidation, because this was the heart of the problem (and high drawdown) in cases of sudden change of trend. I believe that we will experience a better function and profitability of this strategy from now on.

Dear ANT NEST subscribers, we've closed the group of open orders at a basket profit earlier. As you can see after the recent strategy adjustments, our system opens now less positions on the consolidation areas of the chart and more as the trend takes its way up or down. Dear ANT NEST subscribers, we've closed our latest group of orders at a small profit, because we've missed our usual profit target for a tiny % during the night. I've decided to pause our trading for the weekend in order to avoid the usual abnormalities. We will resume our normal trading on Monday. We will stop trading the EURJPY and GBPJPY pairs in order to avoid the sudden ups and downs whenever a tweet or a geopolitical development is taking place. These 2 pairs had also negative impact in our results so far.

Dear ANT NEST subscribers, we've closed our latest group of orders at and I've paused our strategy just in time for ECB Draghi's speech that drove all EUR pairs south. We will remain paused until after the FED meeting tomorrow. These are very difficult times, because currencies are in the middle of a global trade war and rate cut decisions by the central banks in order to avoid a new recession. Keeping our capital or advance in a very slow pace is not the worst thing that can happen.

Dear ANT NEST subscribers, this is the 3rd time that we open a new group of orders on Friday and we end up with 10% drawdown, so lesson learned. The market gets crazy for some reason on Fridays and its better to stay out of it. I believe we will recover on the beginning of the new week.

Dear ANT NEST subscribers, we are strugling these past few weeks, making one step forward and one backward. I believe that one reason for this (apart from the unstable market) is that we record losses by closing individual positions at virtual SL level, but we don't do the same for individual profits. So from now on we will lock profits too, by employing a virtual trailing profit function for individual positions and a basket trailing profit for all open positions of the same currency pair. Our universal basket trailing profit for all open positions together will be maintained as before. I will not stop improving our strategy in order to make it steadily profitable in the long term.
