I switched from a 2003 Server, 2 Core, 1.5 GB RAM, 30 SSD to a 2012 R2 Server, 4 Core, 2 GB RAM, 30 SSD. I still have the same provider CNS. My bad luck on Friday was on the old server setup. Let's see how things are going next week. I notice a substancial speed increase just by using the new server through RDP.

Hi, anyone have this problem after open ARB EA and can not detach Saxotrader2?
ask Mark Reid he also no solution, very frustrated.

You need to remove BA EA from the chart, then the Saxotrader should be gone. If not close the chart and make a new identical one.

Or your bad luck was because Pepperstone said 'Hold on a second this guy is using arbitrage methods, screw with his latency'

I would check your order execution speeds, your account may be flagged.

Best regards Steve

Yes, i remove BA frm the chart, and make all new.
the main thing is BA can not find the SaxoTrader2 terminal, maybe something BA not yet to update to match the new MT4 version and Saxotrader2.

Steve B, I have a hard time believing that a broker of that degree actively works against its customers. I don't think that Pepperstone is on the 'other side' and playing me when they are regulated and they accept scalping also.

near all the brokers say 'accept scalping', but none of them guarantee good execution speed and good condition to open / close a trade in few seconds. they are not against you, you are just the best customer for them, you cost more due to the large activity you do against their servers. specially around news event.
its something you have to negociate, they can put your account in their 'VIP' list, which mean your orders will be executed before the others and with a lower spread.

Visitor4:55:44 PM

4:55:57 PM
please clarify so i will go with you guys
Pepperstone Client Support4:58:10 PM
I'm not familiar with the conversation that you are referring to. We don't restrict EA's unless they are sending thousands and thousands of messages to out servers and could congest client executions. If you have details on the EA please send to us at [email protected] and we can have our IT team review, but I am not aware of us blocking any EAs.
Visitor4:59:55 PM
see my friend having account with you and he already sent email for investigation but u didnt reply. on 1aug nfp day. more then 10 times he see off quotes messege mean his arbitrage ea not be able to open trades when there is big chance to profit
Pepperstone Client Support5:00:44 PM
Ok, if he turned in a trade investigation on Friday he will hear back from them very soon with more details. It can take a couple of business days to run a full trade investigation
5:05:41 PM
We don't interefere with clients orders in any manner and we can't profit from client's profits or losses so there is no conflict of interest.
5:06:19 PM
Please allow one to two business days for our trade investigation team to complete their review for your friend and then will contact him with more details
Visitor5:12:08 PM
