I guess you could write to myfxbook or Signal Start or Tickmill and ask whether the data shown for a master MAM account includes the aggregate balance of all the accounts including clients' accounts or just the balance of the trader's account.
It is my understanding that the data shown for an account in Signal Start is provided by the broker.
In the case of myfxbook, for Frero on the page where account info is shown ( https://www.myfxbook.com/members/wassel2017/frero/2406407 ) above the graph there are check marks indicating 'Track record verified' and 'Trading privileges verified'—which means that info about the account is provided by the broker.
If you research this further, please let us know what you learn.

Hello everybody,
I would like to join the MAM but I'm not sure how it works with FXChoice.
Should I have MT4 / VPS running ? or my account on FXChoice is automatically linked to Wassel account and the performance based on my deposit ?

No need for VPS - your account will be linked to Wassel's master. Just deposit and it should pick up trades.

The latter is correct: 'my account on FXChoice is automatically linked to Wassel account and the performance based on my deposit'.
You do not need a VPS to participate in the MAM.
You follow your account which is connected to the MAM in MT4.

The Frero account is hosted at TickmillUK-Live03 server at Tickmill UK as you can see at mql5 link.
Tickmill UK doesn't offer managed account type (no MAM nor PAMM), this can be verified by writing to the support [email protected] or [email protected]. Therefore all trading accounts held with Tickmill UK are personal (like Frero and velocity ones) or corporate accounts. So in final Frero and Velocity accounts aren't managed accounts and all those accounts' money is own and personal.

What balance is used in FXC MAM, to size lots in client accounts?
For example if Master MAM opens 1 Lot, what lot size does client get with Balance of 10K?

I started with $3690 and initial lot sizes on my account were .02 lot and then bumped to .03 lot on some occasions as equity/balance grew. So with $10k amount probably be .05 or .06 lot size per trade he takes. He always trades with 6 lots FYI

Except in my account, like Juliann1984 reported above, it's 0.02 lot per 5000 USD, or 0.04 lot per 10,000 USD.
Julian1984 and I are both in the MAM account at FX Choice, which trades in USD.
@JForex78, are you perhaps in the Tickmill MAM, which trades in EUR?
@wassel2017, are the settings different for the two MAM's?
With a MAM account, unlike Signal Start, followers cannot change what SS calls the multiplier.

Just checked my records from last week, when I was following Frero via Signal Start before I switched to the MAM at FX Choice. At that time the system was opening a trade of 0.02 lot per 5000 USD.
So even if those of you trading in EUR are trading larger volumes per amount invested than I am, at least I'm not losing any opportunity by switching to the MAM. And considering how risky Frero is, I'm OK with 0.02 lot per 5000 USD.

I have now 0.03 lot for $ 5,000 (actually $5,100).
Not sure if Wassel changed anything to the MAM on FX Choice but it is now opening lot size as per plan.
