BTW...why m I using the us-live01?...I though they haven't move to US yet? So m I now using an Aussie VPS and connecting to U.S?

I am thinking it might be the problem of broker rather than vps

That IP address you gave was located in Australia. If that was the IP address of your broker, then that server is in Australia. Pings will vary due to traffic on the internet. And if it is over 30 hops...that is alot.

Change the location of the server or your MT4 platform location. The closer the better. Example. I am in the US. My broker's trading server is in Europe. Therefore I setup my VPS in Europe.

I guess I better wait till pepperstone transfer to NY on 8th October. Um....i got a feeling that MDP won't last long...will it end up like Fap Turbo soon?

Does anyone have MDP on a FinFx live account? I have it on FinFx demo with a close by VPS and it is going very well but I read on another forum that a person expeienced large S/L slippage on a live FinFX live account. Anyone??

Don't go live with MDP on FinFX. The slippage is terrible and I don't know of anyone (me included) that has not gotten burned by MDP when trading on FinFX.
Make losses, but always come out a winner at the end.

Yes, I had a live finfx account and it slips bad, nothing like demo ( was perfect) Im using IBFX in USA and my private server.

Nobody knows hot to backtest MDP? On Oanda is was working well but I noticed it could not move pending orders and did not trail any positions, i.e. it either hit TP or SL. It did well for some time but yesterday and today some losses. Not sure whether to continue, it's 30% functional.
Was mich nicht umbringt, macht mich stärker.

You could win some contests if you can use MDP with finfx on demo. I had better trades than the MDP main page on demo and my private server. If I could find a contest that offers cashfor winning and lets me use finfx in demo mode, Id do very well. I could easy push risk to 5 or 8 and not blow demo account. However ( BIG BUT) Live will not work well at all, even with small risk, slips and requotes in thier live accounts are very bad. I use IBFX usa as broker on my VPS. Its a fair match.

Ok, thanks for the information about FinFx. It lookls like I need to close the account. I am a US based trader so I can't use a US based broker due to restrictions. Can any of you suggest a non US broker for a live MDP account that you have had success with.

Oh, forgot, the foreign brokers everyone mentions, Pepperstone and ThinkForex also will not accept US customers.
