Guys, you keep talking about the SL while again you let sPhantom trade before red news. Have you ever had the idea to have a look at Myfxbook economic calendar as a must do in your "strategy"? Actually you are again having an open trade 24 hours prior to Fed's Yellen speach + 3 more red news, 12 hours to FOMC meeting and 2 hours to New Home sales news. I keep reading a torrent of comments about how should be the pricing, S/L and the most various strategies.. and I wonder how almost none of you switched off the EA before such important incoming news. I wonder of it specially after having experienced the same unproper behaviour during the past few weeks.. If you play FOREX EA you cannot just ignore the rule n.1: Mind the Economic Calendar (Button Home of this page) and ALWAYS switch your EA off before red news! Otherwise who else can you claim to be responsible for your misfortune? I don't dicount anything to sPhantom which has to clarify ...

Guys, after having seen many times this weird behaviour of trading right before red news the lesson should be ONE: always check the red news every week on myfxbook calendar (you may even set an alert) and turn off this EA in time, otherwise it's pure gambling. This week there were more than 10 red news about USD and I didn't let it trade at all!Now let's see and finger crossed.

@Don_P: change the settings NOT in the left window list but clicking the right button on the graph, then select expert and change your settings.

@ProActiveT: in 2 months using Hotforex FixAccount and their VPS never had problems. Only 1 time I got less than 10 pips, otherwise always 10.0 pips, like a swiss clock.

Sorry guys, I correct myself, I wanted to mean that the second trade gets usually a profit 1.5 bigger than the loosing trade in order to have an overall win in the trade. This time was the first in which the loss was bigger. In my account I never had a trade closed even 0.1 pips before the established TP, but this time there has been 8 pips of difference during a not volatile candle. Probably exactly enough to lose the 1.5 profit I was mentioning.The very question remains: why to enter the trade right before important news?

@sPhantom : can you explain your choice to open a trade right before important news? Also the way it has been handled is different from other times, the second trade wasn't 1.5 times the first size and this made all of us get the first (slight) loss from you guys. Obviously I am not complaining about this tiny loss or asking you to unveil your winning strategy in general, but the way you traded yesterday is the reason of many concerns about your next trades. @Josephwhen you get a customizable version be aware of the historical possible DD: it may reach 140 pips and then go back to profit but if you set a SL=100 you may just hit it and lose. Not always a tighter SL is equal to a safer strategy. I have set a customi SL=160 which I found was never reached yet. If the strategy would be linear and understandable I would set it to 120 but I don't know how the hell their strategy pops out profits even after the trade sinks with quite big DD.. Anyway neither 200 or 250 has been never reached till now.
