my account faced with the same problem with 20% drawdown on the chart, but not on the trading history. this was from Myfxbook. I wrote email to Myfxbook, they corrected this error for my account adready yesterday.

I very agree with your concern for risk control with non-related pair. why did you kick off EUR/USD pair, not GBP/USD? for TOMs EA, EUR.USD has the best performance.by the way, Europe zone currency will be highly volatile due to lots of uncertainty in near future. how about your opinion?

Hi Fughe, thanks for the sharing! because these post is under TOMs EA, shall we open a new thread under your account on this website to talk your EA. I think it will be very effective. For the new EA from you, we need understand more details about this strategy, and forwards test, before we start to use it. Tradency may be better flatform because we are just familar with it.

TOMs EA is good for backtest!!!!!!!when I talked with TOM, he said that the backtest could not reflect the real condition as live account due to this EA work at 1mins time frame for 1st -4th order trades, 30mins time frame for 5th order trade and 60mins time frame for 6th order and above trade.Bact test could not trade with such complexed time frame. He said the Back test result could not reflected the real trading condition. TOMs had the experience with live trading and backtest for the same period (30days). the live trading showed profit. but backtest also blown up.the simple way for us, we have the live trading resulst from this webiste (11 Aug 2011 to now), we also have our own forward test results in the past almost one month. no value to test this EA again. for the blast strategy with martingal, if you want to closed trades with profit, at least you have one trade with profit. if the market go one direction for many days, all open trades with martingale will be loss, and biger and biger with the trend development. finally all open trades will touch 600pips stop loss, paper loss become real loss. OR Margin Call due to big DD of open trades. if the account have very huge capital. otherwise, could not survive. So several months profit first, then all account will be blown. TOMs EA use MACD, 1min/30min/1hour time frame...

hi Maxtrade, thank you for your test!very important results!recently I am also trying to understand the DD when the trade hit the max stop loss.did you use the latest version (v1.88) for the testing?it seams very bad results.you can see the profit for several months, then all of the account will be blowed, no difference from traditional martingale strategy.I am doing the testing with demo account, so far so good. but I did not have confidence in using this email for the long term.

Dear all Fellows,by now, there are some trading resulst available. so far the performance is positive.but considering the high risk potential for this strategy and TOM does not want to disclose more about the strategy, shall ourselves do some analysis based on trade open and close price, and trade step (0.02 lots, 0.06 lots, 0.09 lots, 0.18 lots, 0.24 lots for example in FLopps trading record). then we may have the basic idea how much real risk is for us to use this EA.we should make the decision within next 1 and half months before the deadline for the refund.

hi Tradingshed, you are overtrading.5K start capital, only can trade risk level 2. that means one pair EUR/USD with Risk level 2 or one paiy EUR/USD with risk level 1 and one pair GBP/USD with risk level 1.

Good Luck Flopps! I also treat it as a business. but I decided to monitor for 9 months, then I will lanuch the business. I have done it for another EA with trend following strategy. To speak frankly, I have no confince in Martingale +basket strategy as TOMs EA. especially to recommend it to my clients.for the Forex EA, please do not judge it based on the performance of just 2 month period. it is no meaning!

well done. but what is meaning of "4,000/10,000,000=40,000 "? in my case, I used small account of $1000 and $2000. for both accounts, initial lots size is 0.01(one micro lot). until now, the maximum lot size is 0.09 in order to recover the loss at the EUR/USD down trend as you knew which just ended.
