Salty,My strategies work because I trade them manually, the only reason I tick tested my strategies was because I wanted to be sure the EA's adhered to the strategy perfectly. One of the EA's isn't even mine but the strategy is similar to mine, hence I took the EA and modified the settings to fit in with my requirement.I have made 2 EA's now myself, one is a triple hedging EA and the other works on harmonic pattern reversals and price deviations on candles. Salty I think you are missing the point, the reason people become fund managers is to raise funds.Those who have developed profitable systems know that you are only going to make a little bit of money every month from a small investment. Salty Waters,Please read the thread before offering your "advice". The loss was caused by a power cut. Yes I noticed this.Basically you'll get about a week of good trades then they'll start delaying your trades and you'll loose, this is true on all brokers even ones that say they "welcome scalpers", your execution times will begin to rise in a linear fashion, most people think that brokers requote and widen spreads to make money, that's so 2008, nowdays they simply delay execution times and slip your price. Try trading anything over 1 lots with any retail broker and see what happens...mmaaaddd slippage.This is the reason why retail forex traders only make aroung 2 - 3k per month.

traditional arbing does work on retail FX, you don't even need triangular, if anything tri makes it harder.The reason why you can't buy an arb EA is because the strategy is profitable.

Saltywaters, email me and I'll forward you the backtests,Unfortunately I had to close the manual trades so the account is back down to £300 profit, unforuntately it had to be done as it's NFP today and the risk is just too high, I am going to transfer the remaining profit to another account as I need to start my other bot off live aswell.I'm moving this account to a VPS later today to prevent any more disasters.Wonder if I can make a claim against my power company? probably not ;-)

Hi Salty Waters,There was a power cut thus the robot wasn't able to close its trades, therefore I've had to take over and place these manual trades to hedge myself. I'll keep the hedge open until the market turns around.It is a shame I didn't notice the power cut as I was out, power was down for about 2 hours, but I'm doing my best to rectify the situation, then I'll hand control back to the EA.

Hi,May I ask which broker you use for your managed accounts? I want to offer a similar service for my EA clients but my broker GoMarkets doesn't offer pamm accounts, I was thinking of going with pepperstone but they are getting bad reviews now.

Hi ClaessonIAlpari UK do offer pamm accounts however they are a dishonest broker so I will not trade with them.I'm still researching it but it's more than likely I'll be offering the pamm accounts with pepperstone, they are based in aus but accept clients all over the world, as it's a pamm account you won't have to worry about latency. Private message me your email and I'll email you once it's up and running.Lots of the reputable brokers are cancelling their contracts with cashbackforex so we will no longer be able to receive commisions anyway.

CSL 5, and all the other CSL strategies have all been loosing since their inception. It's a shame as we could have had a 3rd EA now.Lee's live is a winning strategy and the CL strategies are making profits on demo money.Just so we are clear the CSL and CL cannot be backtested as they rely on multiple instances of the EA running to work properly.

fughe is right,I used to trade the stock market before moving over to forex and I used to see similar things.In the stock market there were algo guys running HFT's but they were only in the FTSE100 stocks, try and trade any of those stocks and you ALWAYS got slipped even if you entered your order exactly to a level 2 ask, but then head out to the aim and slipping was rare. The amount you got slipped was never a lot and it was just something that we excepted, nice HFT guys never finish last. I don't use MDP but I do trade EA's and slipping is something that an EA has to account for.

Guys please stop fooling for this rubbish. I'll tell you where to get the EA, plus I'll also give you the set files and I don't want any money for "sharing the seceret" etc lol.I've changed things round a little and am making about £50 a day now, which is much nicer than £150 a month.Seriously guys compounding WILL 100% loose you your whole account, stay away from any EA that uses compounding / MM. Instead of compounding you should be WITHDRAWING your profits.
