Yes, it is, because the biggest pump happened before the Bitcoin futures launch was around this price level of 8500 USD which has been completely dumped now and hence, price is oscillating around that zone of 8500 USD.I was also expecting a big pump again till 12.5K before Feb 16, but the current conditions doesn't seem to reach the price level. Anyway, after Feb 16 all the cryptos will start to rally, but before Feb 16 or 20 if it can reach 12K or 13K,then it can give a clear sign of massive upward rally to create a new all time high soon.

Hitting 2K is very difficult, but never to say impossible to anything in crypto. In crypto space any price up or down is possible at anytime. However, looking into technical analysis it is giving some signal for a quick recovery till 12,500 USD within coming days or weeks. Let's see.

@giancarlo914 I don't know whether actually you understand the meaning of "intrinsic value" and what is value of an asset and how it is obtained etc or not. Yes, I am always around with cryptos and Bitcoin. There is no one single reason for Bitcoin price to drop though some traders say that it is because of the coming Chinese new year and some say it's because of south korea and some say it is because of India freezing bank accounts of crypto exchanges and so on. I didn't expect a slowdown in BTC price in January though some more experienced traders say that it is a common pattern which occurs every year before Chinese new year. Though BTC price can explode at anytime, but fundamentally we can expect a rapid price growth as usual after mid February. Technical analysis price projections are still okay.

26th January is an important date to watch out for Bitcoin price movements since Bitcoins futures contract will expire on that day. The bullish move of BTC price didn't happen as expected by me during January since such a healthy and strong correction was was absolutely necessary after a huge rally till 20K within a short span of time, because next rally will bring the total market capital to trillions.Considering the technical analysis of Bitcoin price, everything seems to be going perfectly fine. There is nothing to be scared. Professional long term traders wait for such price levels for months for a good entry, because it is a quick gain for them. Just few more thoughts to give a comparison between forex and cryptos.The current market capital of forex is around $200 TRILLION and the current crypto market capital is less than $1 TRILLION which is less than 0.5% of the forex market.Now, just think for a minutes...95% of the forex traders consistently loose money and out of which if at least 20% of these traders will decide even to continue to loose, but simply switch from forex to crypto, then the crypto market capital will be multiplied by at least 10 times by a spike within a matter of few months time.
