DEMO ACCOUNT vs LIVE ACCOUNT

Demo accounts are great for getting your feet wet as long as you can develop a trading plan and use the same MM that you would use in a live account (Which is extremely difficult once you start losing real $$, which is inevitable but still recovery and successful trading is possible). I've learned appropriate trading psychology in crucial in order to have longevity in this industry. Once you realize that you are your worst enemy, NOT YOUR BROKER, life is so much easier. Their job is to take your money... DUH. You're job is to make sure they are only able to skim off the top (trust me.....
What is your daily target??

Yup, I concur. This seems to be the most sensible answer since the market can be pretty unpredictable, especially within the last few months or so. I have a monthly goal of just "staying in the green" as a minimum requirement, which usually averages at least a solid 200+ pips.
who can trade with support and resistance area???

I've been trading off the basic support and resistance levels using ABCD patterns and Fibonacci without any other indicators for the last 6 months and it's completely changed my strategy for the better (LOL, indicators are too confusing to me anyway). Just make sure you use proper risk:reward management and set realistic target entries & exits for yourself.Good luck in your trading luv,Ciao 😎

Interesting analysis because I was thinking the complete opposite, LOL ;-). Although, I do agree the Greece crisis leaves more uncertainty and market volatility for investors than I would like. In the end only time will time where a particular currency pair will go. Thanks for posting and good luck in your trading luv.Ciao ;-)

Hi Ben,Great read. I was wondering whether or not you believe the euro could still thrive without Greece if no deal is made? Honestly, I think the biggest concern would be who would be next to leave eurozone because a lot of smaller European countries are still barely getting by and have also accumulated a lot of debt.

So I fortunately did not have any open trades on any CHF pair, but I found the scenario so alarming I wanted to know what would happened to my account if I did have trades open on CHF pairs. Therefore, I chatted and called my broker to confirm what the agent online had told me. To make a a long story short they basically said they are not responsible for any loss due to slippage and high volatile market movements even when a SL was "skipped over" and that any "abnormal gains" would be investigated. They also sent me a link to the "agreement" and clause that was of...

I'm sorry for your loss. What happened in the market for CHF pairs it's call slippage and if clients don't read the fine print within their agreements the risk losing their entire account based off a glitch in the system. It really sucks that brokers aren't willing to reimburse clients for there loss.😞Check out my blog to read about an encounter I had with my broker in regard to this unfortunate event.http://caramelnatural82.blogspot.com/2015/01/fx-trading-ugly-truth.html

Conversation amongst FOREX.com broker in regards to CHF.. I wonder if there really is a broker out there who values their clients enough to adhere to the SL or reimbursement of some sort. I'm determined to find out.APRIL: Does forex.com have any protocol set in place to protect accounts from being wiped out from negative/adverse news events? i.e the example of CHF pairs from last week?Adam: Unfortunately, the client will be responsible for the negative balance.APRIL: So if a client placed a stop loss at a certain pip limit and it was "skipped over" allowing for more loss than wha...

I think it's because the contest doesn't start until 9 am ET. Which really sucks for all of us who knows the market has been open since Sunday. It kind of puts us at a disadvantage, but it is what it is :-( Good Luck everybody!

I was wondering if there's any experienced forex traders interested in showing a new trader the ropes of the market. I've been trading since June 2014 and I've learned some hard lessons from personal ignorance in trading forex, but I'm glad because I'll never make the same mistakes again. I now have a current strategy that I've had success with, but I want to learn more about other strategies I could use. As the protege this what I what to know 1) How I can improve the way I trade. 2) How do read indicators to know when to get in on a trade (besides the obvious, break ...
