United States Industrial Production MoM
The output of enterprises that are integrated into the industrial sector of the economy is measured in the United States by industrial production. Accounting for 78% of overall production the manufacturing is the most important industry. Chemicals (12% of total output), food, drink, and tobacco (11%), machinery (6%), fabricated metal goods (6%), computer and electronic products (6%), and motor vehicles and parts (6%) are the most important areas within Manufacturing. A total of 11% of production is accounted for mining and quarrying, with the remaining 11% going to production and utilities.

U.S. Existing Home Sales Slump To Nine-Month Low In June
A report released by the National Association of Realtors on Wednesday showed existing home sales in the U.S. pulled back by more than expected in the month of June. NAR said existing home sales slumped by 2.7 percent to an annual rate of 3.93 million in June after jumping by 1.0 percent to a revised rate of 4.04 million in May.

U.S. Leading Economic Index Dips Slightly More Than Expected In June
A report released by the Conference Board on Monday showed its reading on leading U.S. economic indicators fell by slightly more than expected in the month of June. The Conference Board said its leading economic index declined by 0.3 percent in June following a revised unchanged reading in May.

U.S. Consumer Sentiment Reaches Five-Month High In July
After reporting a substantial rebound by U.S. consumer sentiment in the previous month, the University of Michigan released a report on Friday showing a more modest improvement by consumer sentiment in the month of July. The University of Michigan said its consumer sentiment index climbed to 61.8 in July after surging to 60.7 in June. Economists had expected the index to rise to 61.5.
