The Usd/Jpy trade is interesting as an example of analyzing possible movement scenarios and strictly following the established plan and trading system. The trade was opened according to the uptrend, after unsuccessful attempts to break through the channel support area, as well as EMA 200 on the hourly chart. At the same time, I saw that the levels of 134.00 and 133.900 will provide support.
However, after the opening, the market immediately went down, trying to create a false breakout of the EMA 200. I was ready to take a loss if I received information about a possible deep fall and trend break, but instead, the MACD showed divergence on short-term timeframes , and on the hourly chart, the MACD signal line was not crossed confidently, thus allowing my to wait.
Despite the tense period after the open, my patience was rewarded as the market impulsively continued to move with the trend and returned to the area above the EMA lines on the hourly chart. The market confirmed quite strong growth markers, so the following decline was not so important, I saw that the market would return to 134.400 – 134.500 and therefore I set the take profit below the top level to be sure that the trade would be closed with a profit.

A stable profit is difficult to achieve over a long period of time.

Right after funds reach the account. But operating with numbers, then on my account page it shows that the average monthly profitability is 9.27%. You can take this as an approximate expected result for the specified period (month). Moreover, the accumulation of compound interest will also increase the profit amount.

I didnt know MACD can be such useful.
Perhaps I sjould reconsider my attitude towards it :-)

@MarcellusLux I've been impressed by your detailed analysis and trading strategy. I'm curious about how you manage risk in your trades, particularly when it comes to setting stop loss levels. Can you share your approach to determining the appropriate stop loss distance and how you adjust it during the trade, if at all? Thanks in advance!

@MarcellusLux I checked out your myfxbook trade history in details and I gotta ask, what's the deal with all those withdrawals and deposits? I mean, you got like 2 mil in withdrawals and 4 mil in deposits, why?

Throughout 2022, I have been hard at work on increasing my consistency rate and after some changes earlier this year, I am starting to increase profitability with a good stable strategy. Yes, you are right, that is the point, but in this case it is an absolutely normal process of developing a trading system.

Everyone who answered you was right. Please note that my account is connected to the pamm service and some withdrawals and deposits were made by investors and processed by the system. Also, some transactions are rewards for partners.

The beginning of the new month remains without trading activity on LUX PAMM due to extreme caution associated with the current activity on the market. However, now I see a fairly clear picture on the Euro Dollar, which will quite possibly soon be turned into trading activity.

Euro Dollar during April tried to overcome some resistance zone around 1.10700 and it started to work out after a sharp jump was made with the top of 1.10965. At the moment, a very weak uptrend has been formed, close to horizontal, and its extension in the current situation is unlikely.
A divergence has formed on the MACD four-hour chart, which is also clearly visible on the daily chart, along with a fairly confident crossing of the signal line.
The recent drop proved that the 100 EMA level on the 4-hour chart would not provide significant support in the event of a decline. But I would pay attention to the EMA 200 level, the line is at 1.09300 now. I will consider the support at 1.09430 as a marker level and a preliminary signal for further decline, and further breaking of the signal level at 1.09300 will probably mean a continuation of the fall to 1.08300.
The confident growth will be possible if the EMA levels of 100 and 200 are confidently crossed again, and then there will be a prospect of a second attempt to reach and overcome the level of 1.10950 formed in May

@MarcellusLux You mentioned time management in trading, which is a fascinating subject. I'm interested whether you like to plan your trades ahead of time, or do you tend to give in to spontaneous or gut-feeling decisions? Or other way?

The EUR/USD candle crossed the 100 EMA on the 4-hour chart and I also see clear EMA lines cross on the shorter timeframes (30 minutes and 15 minutes). I have a sell trade opened at 1.10149, which is currently displayed on the myfxbook account page. Follow my page and find out if this trade will reach the take profit level or will be closed earlier due to the risks of further correction. Regardless of the trade direction, I am still trading inside the uptrend, so the support zone can be quite dangerous for both bulls and bears.

I use stop loss and at the same time, I am a supporter of flexible risk management. The assessment of the possible risk begins with the calculation of different market scenarios probability and the volatility associated with the market activity. In this way, I can quickly assess the market state and make decisions based on the current situation. Also, the SL position depends on the current key and marker levels, which can affect the market. I have learned these lessons that a stop loss is only valuable when it actually placed accordingly to its purpose: fix losses under certain conditions and markers. If I see that the trade does not need a stop loss or can be closed by a false marker level gap, then I refuse it. Also, if I use SL, I see no reason to change its position during trading. If the trade is open, then I already know about the possible risks and I am ready to accept them.

First of all, I would clarify that I had in mind a completely different aspect when I wrote about time management.
