@Peele_Sanders This is actually quite a good robot. There is an element of doubling up but I am very comfortable with the way it is done. I am trading it on my 10k account and it does very well. It will still show me teeth and take a 30% bite out of the account but that will take me about 10 days to recover from. There is a way where you can partially achieve this.If you have a buy that you want to scale out of, you can set a pending order for a sell ie a sell limit order at your TP.Then you can close both the buy and the sell at your leisure when you return to your computer. I would suggest you find a broker that supports "Order Close By" which will allow you to close the hedge with no commission or spread costs which is the same as having closed the order in the first place.In terms of the move to break even, look for a good trade manager EA that can achieve the functions you seek. I have used both and they are both good brokers. I would tend to favour FP markets a bit as their swaps seem to be slightly better, but you won't go wrong with either.

Hi,1. Yes exactly. In fact with the notifications turned on, you should get a notification straight away showing the trade status, So if there are no trades you will get a "All Trades Closed" message. If there is a trade open it will tell you that a new trade is open. 2. The EA will tell you 2 things :- a. Ok, I stand corrected.I do have some reservations though.......that study is over 10 years old, so I'm not sure how things would have changed with today's technology. Also I have reservations about applicability to the FX market, given the size and decentralised nature, relative to the market that they studied.

Actually be very careful where you take your recommendations from. There are many "review" sites that are simply undercover Introducing Brokers. They provide what looks like an objective review and/or analysis but actually don't care which broker you choose because they get paid by all of them.You also need to take a lot of reviews with a pinch of salt. If you see enough of complaints you will understand that forex has a bigger share of idiots than most places. A somewhat over cynical view. The reality is not that bad. Bonuses are a marketing tool for sure. A broker is a business after all and of course they use things like bonuses to lure people. It's no different to any other form of marketing.The problem with bonuses are two fold :-1. It is hardly ever possible to trade the volumes required to withdraw the bonus, especially for newbies. 2. Actually, I see Exness has stop levels on EURUSD. I think they are a great broker but I would not use them for scalping for example.

@saurabh_suman, just to be clear, I said that I will be more understanding if the is a stop level on a high volatility pair, but I don't like to see it on majors like EURUSD.I have several brokers that I use that I am happy with. I don't know where brokers get it from, but I am not aware that it changes but I suppose it is possible. It is presumably a function of the volatility of the instrument involved. I'm sure if you just browse your brokers, you will find any TRY pair would have a relatively large stop level. I generally avoid brokers that have stop levels greater than zero on something like EURUSD because to my mind it says that they have issues executing you trades. But I would be more understanding if they have a stop level on the EURTRY, for example. This is anecdotal evidence however.....I can't p...

Hi,It's called stop level and it differs from broker to broker as well as from instrument to instrument.You can find the exact specification in MT4 by right-clicking on the instrument in the market watch window. I don't know about the calculator but I the contract size is different at different brokers.Generally when dealing with Forex, the contract size is the same everywhere, ie 1 lot = 100 000 units. With the advent of CFD's for commodities, Indexes, Crypto, and so on, they have had to get creative with what 1 lot is.You can imagine 100 000 units of bitcoin is hardly a practical size as BTC costs close to $10 000(or whatever it's price is today). Unfortunately not. Great question though.Price only changes when a transaction occurs. So an offer means nothing unless it is accepted. You may have a car that you value highly but you won't know the true value until someone hands you cash for it and the value then becomes that price that you exchanged at, not what you had in your mind, or advertised.Now clusters of orders(stop or limit) will affect behaviour of price action when triggered. Stop orders(normal stop orders & stoplosses) will trigger a run of pricing as they are often clustered together(fibonacci, last bar high.low, etc)....

Actually, FXTM is ok for managed accounts. I have some "throw-away" money with Alpari(they are the same company as FXTM) in a managed account that is doing ok.

I use all 4 and they are all good. My preference is for IC markets in conjunction with Paybackfx. FP Markets is a close second followed by the other 2.

I have been trading with Tickmill for just under a year. I am more than happy to recommend them. Different things are important to different traders and for me it is the speed of deposit and withdrawal. In my case, I have found that their withdrawals are prompt, often within a couple of hours. Great broker.
