Why it works at my thinkforex demo account but not at the thinkforex real account?

Please add back the auto update feature as for those using MAM there is no other update options.

Thanks guys and your site is a huge benefit to the trading community.

For people who don't know yet; its a problem with mt4 build 500. Metaquotes is working on the issue.

I have to suggest something, that will for sure help (may be little) but will helps.
For example I have 114 linked accounts. And do use no more than 15, mean, I really track 15 from 114 accounts. So, an option to just 'unlink/disable' updating via a custom option will be great. No need to waste resources on accounts that are old or do not need updating.
And additionally an option to may just once update on these disabled accounts (in case that is needed).

Hi Mike,
It is not soo correlated... :) How do you connect, via Autoupdate or via the EA?
If it is via Autoupdate, it depends only on MyFxBook and the broker (Metaquotes respectively).
If it is via the EA - there is no matter where it runs - if where it runs there is a connection to the broker, that is enough.

Hi Geldin - Some clients experienced issues on the 'ThinkForex-Live' server, but the Demo and Live2 server continued to run as per usual. This is because they still had Build 482 installed, but 'ThinkForex-Live' had been updated top build 500 without any notice, which was the root of the problem...

I think MetaQuotes has noticed that there is a hole in their revenue generating system and now they have given a warning that they can do something about it. Commercial players like this site are using MT4 servers now for free on behalf of their customers.
It would be very unfortunate if current unofficial MT4 Server API solutions are rendered useless by MetaQuotes in some unforeseen future!
But it would be great if MetaQuotes publish officially MT4 Server API that can be used for a reasonable fee. Maybe there are planning for that? This way we can have clear and official way about this matter and no guessing what MetaQuotes will do next (to increase their revenues). MetaQuotes has made some big strategic mistakes in their product line and now it seems that they are fixing those errors. No more free riding on MT4 platform :-(
