That fact that I can create Positions as low as 0.00001 is a great advantage as an America Investor to get around the FIFO rules.

What would you improve about Oanda?

These people are dumb. They have this 1 single great advantage of Micro Contract sizes, but they don't have the intelligence to get Metatrader or anyone else to recognize it. So we actually LOSE our advantage with MyFxBook and other auditing platforms like SignalStart if we do use the contract sizes, because they don't read properly when audited.

I talked to a representative on day one. I had a question after, and he never got back to me. All these Brokerages are stripped down with very little services. I had high hopes, but They're all the same. Except these guys have greater costs per trade in pips. If it weren't for the fact that they allow me to make this 0.00001 contract sizes, I would have gone elsewhere.

Good, overall. You need to watch out for the margin calls with Oanda since they do a check at 3:15 p.m. EST for margin call alerts.

The fact that it works with myfxbook and TradingView.

The web interface is clunky and over complicated; however, the Android app works great. I usually do most of my trading from within TradingView or the Oanda app.

Overall, it is a good broker. I have not had any problems with them other than the poor web interface. The spreads were better than Forex.com at the time I joined; however, I have not looked at ForEx.com since then.

I really like the fact that they allow me to connect external sites/apps to my account. It was hard to find a trading journal that would work with Oanda without having to manually download/upload data. I am pleased that it works automatically with myfxbook.

Opened my account in2019, I never had any problems with them until I decided to withdraw my funds. I was surprised and disappointed to have jump through hoops to withdraw and ultimately close my account. I would not recommend Oanda.

They're using it as a hedge if you look carefully. This broker is unscrupulous if you've with them a long time they do sketchy things like this.
