I work on this broker for more than 2 years... Manual & automated systems. I dont experienced really significatives diferences on slippages on demo/real accounts (i have always the same systems on real & demo accounts at the same time to compare).
Really good one on trade execution & low comissions.

My experience is I get slipped on stop orders for about 90% of the time, MT4 and cTrader. That makes it one of the most expensive brokers actually. Disapointing. Otherwise their client portal is the best I've seen .

Withdrawal fees (bank transfer) not clearly on their website. they should tell it more clear (as example upon registration) that when you deposit with skrill, you need to withdraw with bank transfer and that it has big fees.
Well, I lost my money (shit happens, it has nothing to do with their server problems). Because I could better use it to trade instead of paying the big bank transfer fee. But lost my money.
So I refunded (deposited) with neteller.
After a few days I want to withdraw some of my money (also with neteller).. but then they reject it!!!
They say i've not funded with neteller, while I can find it in my logs on their website!
First I had to wait 6 hours on my payment.. but rejected..
Then I asked the chat.. they should make a support ticket to investigate.
After 12 hours, i've heard nothing, so chat again.
The chat said he could not see a neteller deposit, while the other collegue I spoke earlier did see the deposit. This is madness, a bunch of amateurs. if I can see it, they should see it.
Now I have to wait 24 hours again (and it's not even my fault) and wait for the investigation results.
Why is it that difficult?? i'm not happy with it.

I have been trading with this broker about three years .i have also ib with them .Under my ib more than 10 traders trading .but so far i did not get any trouble .I dont know why so many people coments bad about this broker.I tried more than 50 brokers last 5 years so far i found ic markets is the best .

We have moved all our funds out to Dukascopy. Execution speed and disconnects have been increasing at IC Markets, resulting in trades not being copied from our master accounts to our signal clients, as well as out main fund. Whilst this month has not been particular good for our portfolio, IC Markets has just made it worse. Our internal tracking has also saw an increase of offquotes from < 0.03% to around 0.4% now, which is particular troubling.

I only have joined IC Markets because it is used my one of the best signal provider, known to me.
I worked in the industry for several years and I know there are preferential treatments if you join a broker trough a big partner, like the hedge funds who runs the strategy I am linked to follow.
I worked in a huge FCA regulated company and, after all, many people lost money anyway when the Bank of Switzerland decided to uncap the exchange ratio of the CHF against the Euro.
Some brokers were forced to closed the positions of the clients and minimise losses, the insolvency of the firm left many big accounts severed but the FCA would not protect many of those under the FSCS scheme although they should have.
Point being, if a 20+ million USD hedge funds work with IC markets... it might not be such a bad broker.
I have about 75k there and I'd prefer not having trouble, I will report eventually.

Extremely disappointed with this broker. I have experienced very poor communication, with automated emails followed by no response for days and sometime not at all. Their online help was as good as useless. For instance, when I asked why the Ipol option did not work for international clients the response was that it should work. I went straight to Ipol and was told that ICMarkets doesn't allow international transfers via Ipol.
The kicker was when my analytical program began to record increasingly poor execution speeds and increased slippage relative to the other brokers I work with, using the same EA on the same VPS. When I brought this to their attention my email was ignored. I find this bemusing since I am a large equity client. Needless to say I am in the process of withdrawing all funds from this broker. Even that is proving difficult, as the 2-5 working day time frame they quote in their wire transfer withdrawal option has long since lapsed, and the funds have not been returned. When I emailed them about this I received an automated email saying that they would look into it. As usual I have not heard back. As of today they have been issued with a warning, that if the funds are not in my account within three-days the matter will be escalated to their regulator.
Folks, if you want a professional broker look elsewhere.

I was with this broker form more than 1year. When I start was everything OK. But than more and more problem with this broker (IC Markets,..) For sure is not true ECN broker. The real ECN brokers allow and even encourage you to place limit orders inside the spread. If you do this with IC markets you do not see your order, because your order do not go in real market. If you do this with true ECN broker you can see your order (examle Dukascopy, Interactivbrokers,....).
I asked the question: Why if I put my order inside the spread, I can not see my order. But first answer was that I have to wait the answer because do not know. But was no answer. I tryed with this question one more time but no answer. This broker is better to avoid is not a real broker. And after I had enought. I withdrawal all my money, and one more surprise. The was no 20 AUD, but was 42 EURO. For withdrawal from Australia to Europa. For deposit was no fee.

I gained $11 000. I put money for a conclusion and to me at once blocked the account and nullified a sredv in a private office. Sent any clear charges. I asked to provide proofs in of what they accuse me. They told that dissolve with me the contract and cancel all transactions. As a result of me deprived also of the deposit and the earned profit.
How it is possible to cancel transactions on the STP and ECN technology? They are thieves and swindlers!
I wrote to the regulator, most likely also it won't help me.

I put a pending stop order 22:55pm, news came in the candlestick didn't move and just stood there for 3 min yet on my other broker the trades got triggered candle moved nicely down bearish and got my profit.
Icmarket 3min while watching the graph on the Icmarkets terminal suddenly the candlestick flashed in the bottom it literally just appeared and my order got opened after a 121pips downward move when bearish run had finished, instead of banking 121 pips profit i was forced to close the trade hence it got opened at the bottom of the bearish candle .
They obviously manipulated the order and only executed at the bottom when the run had finished and conveniently set this up with their market manipulation software.

I need help with my broker as i'm a novice in these wanderings.
Last friday when nfp I had several orders pending sell stop and buy stop, which opened with a skid ranging from 2 pips and 115 pips.
When I realized I was the live chat and the operator who answered me told me to fill out a form and told me to fill as it had been many issues on Friday. He told me to wait for response from the trades department. After some insistence to have open trades and find that the broker (Icmarkets) should the void today received the following email.
