I would like to share a few wise words from Mark Douglas (Trading in the Zone):
"There is a random distribution between wins and losses for any given set of variables that define an edge/system. In other words, based on the past performance of your edge, you may know that out of the next 20 trades, 12 will be winners and 8 will be losers. What you don't know is the sequence of wins and losses or how much money the market is going to make available on the winning trades. This truth makes trading a probability or numbers game. When you really believe that trading is simply a probability game, concepts like right and wrong or win and lose no longer have the same significance. As a result, your expectations will be in harmony with the possibilities."

Science disagrees to some extent. Consider the double slit experiment. When the electrons are not measured, they go through both slits and make a wave pattern, but when observed, they act like particles and do not form a wave pattern. The act of watching has an effect on the outcome. Given this, I question if anything is truly a random distribution or is the probability of all outcomes equally viable until the event, giving the illusion of randomization?
Here's an experiment that we can try to see what effect it has on expected outcome. We mostly ignore pipchatcha, which is the correct way to handle a misbehaving young person because what they really need, or is trying to get, is attention. The experiment would be for everyone to only say niece things or excepting dialog with pipcatcha, no matter what he says to any of us or about us. Does positive attention change a bad trader into a successful one by only using positive feedback?
Everyone has some good attributes if we care to look for them, for all we know the kid may only be 13, we don't know the actual age, we are just estimating by his vocabulary and behavior. A young person that is willing to jump into this shark tank at such a young age says some good things about the kid. Tenacity being one, unless of course he can't handle it and runs for the exit. However, I am willing to give it a go.

Pipcatcha can answer some of the very technical questions you guys might have. Don't attack him directly. Maybe he can enlighten us on how things really are. I heard he's been from the buy side lately so I guess he thinks that retail traders are just piss(sic).
From now on ask him technical questions and see if he can actually explain them thoroughly, he is a bigshot anyway ;)

Do you think you losers have any effect on me? Face reality that you are amongst the 98% or more that lose but I appreciate you crying like babies but if it weren't for you losers I wouldn't be in the predicament I'm in. 😀

I miss Zero./ He was more creative than the Pipcatcha. Trades are open!! Can't we bring back Zero./ and boot this clown?
I thought Pipcatcha would provide the same level of entertainment but he is just crass and crude and a sad disappointment. Just as stupid but not at all as creative.

You can try to boot idiot but the only booting will be done to you loser who needs to buy systems to try and make money because he can't afford anything nor can he trade and make his weekly salary of 2 dollars

@forexpipcatcha Just PMd you my Escrow email address so you can set up the Escrow account. Who would like to act as my Broker account for the competition? You need to be a long standing and reputable member. You will hold the funds in your Escrow account (no cost to you) for the period of the competition as a broker. Acting as a broker in the transaction funds can only be released to forexpipcatcha or returned to me after 30 days.

Wait, you have to agree on the rules. US or Off Shore. If Pipcatcha is a US citizen, he is limited to 50:1 margin. To make it fair, you should both agree upon and use the same broker.
Pipcatcha, you just got challenged to a duel, You don't have to do this, use your head, Silverthorn is a pro and he wouldn't have laid down the challange if he didn't have a good idea that one of his techniques makes a high return, most likely, it will also lose big eventually but you would be gambling on weather the loss would happen during the month of duel. One month, that's not a lot of time. Certainly not enough time to recover from a bad slip.
However kid, I for one think you have what it takes. This may be your time to break through and earn that respect, you can shut their mouths about your abilities with one swift move, and believe me, if you can beat Silverthorn, you would have earned it. Just one word of warning, I have never seen a challenge of this type where the loser didn't disappear, never to be seen or heard from again. These competitions may not be to the death, but they can be the death of a reputation.
Duel; 1. A prearranged, formal combat between two persons, usually fought to settle a point of honor.
2. A struggle for domination between two contending persons, groups, or ideas.
To back down means defeat but, it is a defeat that you can live with. Ask yourself, are you ready?

From the PM I just received from Junior it seems he is not up to the challenge. Has a very colourful vocabulary though!! 😀 Apparently he is an investor not a trader stating that "all but one I invested in lost all the money so the accounts you see is not all my trading fool". I'm happy to invest for one month instead of trading!!

So kid, does that mean you're backing down? It's OK, if your not ready, your not ready. Have you heard the one about David and Goliath? It is worth the telling when David wins but what doesn't make the news any more is the fact that most of the time, the other Davids, don't fare so well.
